A new FF announced for PSP. "Final Fantasy: Dissidia"

- Final Fantasy series characters battle on a 3D field. The genre is fighting competition action (?).
- The gods Cosmos and Chaos called on the heroes of light and dark
- Warrior of light from FF1, Zidane from FF9 will participate
- Garland and Kuja are also confirmed
- Character designs by Nomura.

Looks to me like a beat em up game judging from the screenshot. Oh well, nothing major for me tbh.
 
looks awesome. finally zidane is revived. Nomura makes them spikey though.. as always.
 
Wow, this reminds me alot of Kingdom Hearts, Zidane looks cool aswell
 
Why does Zidane have like spikey edges on the end of his hair and why does he look kind of angry? Just not the same Zidane.
 
It looks like it might be a little like Dynasty Warriors, which is bad if it's like the PSP version because they really fucked up there. But still, I think it might be a big success if they bring back a lot of previous FF characters (please Sabin) and I'll most likely get it.
 
yeah Zidane looked serious now. He should've been smiling tauntingly in that face to face shot with Kuja.. I hope they'd also bring back all those cool characters from FF2-6. it's gonna be their turn now. B)

It's not as impossible as you may think. It wouldn't be hard for them to make it an online game really. Like you said; you'd just play against other players in a battle field.
 
Im hoping this is a fighting game - it would be fun to make all the fantasy fights come true - Cloud VS Squall, Aerith VS Tifa, Cait Sith VS quina etc XD i hope that they dont mess up the designs of the characters from FFI-VI though...they could ened up looking so wrong
 
This could become a really cool game to play, I hope it's more like a Smash Bros type game with all the Final Fantasy/Square Enix characters and such
 
This could be awesome. I, unlike most, enjoyed Ehergiez. I can only pray to be able to tag team people with Squall and Cloud.

OMG i know! a Squall/Cloud fight would so freaking totally rule... and think about it... Squall would look so sexy in this game ^-^ another matchup I'd like to see is a Edea or Ultimecia vs Sephiroth fight lol
 
My God! I was hoping this type of Ish to happen. Ehergeiz was just awesome but his looks like this will give me a seizure if i play it. ZIDANE LOOKS AWESOME IN NOMURA ART! I wish they would make it for the PS2 so i could play it wit my friends. not many of them own PSPs like myself. NICE FIND DOOD!
 
Look at the logo, that's gotta be Shiva and Ifrit! and is that the Mage Masher Zidane's holding? looks like it. If only I could read Japanese!
