Why the hell does this film have 'Final fantasy' in the title?!

Erm yeah, why is this film named after final fantasy, what the hell does have to do with final fantasy?! Im guessing it was made/directed by someone who creates final fantasy...
I reckon they just used that as an excuse to call it 'final fantasy' so they could actually make some money out of an average film
 
Square Soft made it...and they decided to call it Final Fantasy....

But i bet they called it Final Fantasy just to attract fans of the series and milk some quick and easy money
 
Square whoring out the Final Fantasy name to sell an average product? Never the heard the like the before! Blasphemy I say!
 
Yep, it was just a money spinner. Square's team basically raped some poor programs on their computers, and gave the child a nice name to make it look better. It's disgusting
 
Agreed. Its a damn shame. The movie wasn't even that good. What pisses me off the most is that someone not familiar with FF in general check this movie out and say "Dag Final Fantasy games must suck". It just puts a tarnish on the whole FF name.:mad:


Thats why I was so glad to see Advent Children:)

That's their main selling point.
Mind, I thought Advent Children was good, not great, good. But only eye candy though.

As for the Spirits Within, I basically stopped watching it a quarter of the way through. It was boring, to be honest.
 
Advent Children reminded me of The Matrix: Reloaded. I didn't understand what the hell was going on in that movie, either.

But at least characters in the Matrix spoke English... :P
 
I only watched half of The Spirits Within the first time, then the second time, I watched the whole thing, but I was so tired, I didn't get a chance to remember the rest of the story.
 
Spirits Within, although crap, kinda goes with the whole "FF" theme. Although stupid, and the fact that it could do without the FF title, it slightly is ok to have that name.
 
It IS true. The only thing I liked about Final Fantasy Spirits Within is the graphics. Square Enix Realy put in some effort in THAT
