i got weird dream (or a nighmare) about FF tactics

square enix made a final fantasy movie of FF Tactics but the movie is pure humor and comedy and lack of any seriousness but the story pattern remains the same. every character is funny and sometimes they even do modern real world product commercial or show modern equipment as part of humor. i think that's a bad move for square
 
Well with Tactics gaining a Fandom and Cult Following it's possible. Just add in some J-Pop and destroy the original storyline like Crisis Core did with Final Fantasy VII and milk the cow like they did with Final Fantasy XIII and viola.

2015 release date. Coming to a Straight to Blu-ray/ DVD store near you ! The characters that you loved in Tactics now destroyed ! How wonderful !

... :damon: forget that, If they do anything with the real Tactics! (yes the advances don't count :mokken: ) They better make a real sequel... that or they should make an anime about the story line... that would of been epic :(

Square Pictures was located in Honolulu, Hawaii and was a computer-animated film division of Square. In 1997, they began work on a feature CG film based on Final Fantasy and in 2000, the film was revealed as Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The film was released on July 11, 2001 and was met with mixed reviews. Massive cost overruns resulted in the film's box-office take being just over half of its budget. Square Pictures was disbanded shortly thereafter.

And I guess XIII-2 didn't either... (except then again the story was 100% changed... or... what would you call that... altered? eh whatever)
