So I made a thread a while ago asking people what they would do in certain situations during a Zombie Apocalypse...instead of just reviving that thread I figure I would make a second thread with more what if's and where you are... So...

1 year into a "Zombie (or whatever word you shall use, walker, chompers, road killers, whatever you wanna call them :wacky: ) Apocalypse" there is no cure, and all formal forms of government have shut down and no hope of reviving them or no hopes of a cure.
You have survived long odds.

Rules in a general Zombie Apocalypse

1. if you are bitten you turn unless you cut off the part that is infected RIGHT AWAY!
2. All humans are infected
3. The zombies can be distracted by any sounds.
4. Only way to not turn is to be killed in the brain
5. Unless the brain is killed, a zombie won't die.

So one year in let see what you are doing.

1. Where are you? (in one place or constantly moving?)
2. Who are you with? family or friends still from before the Apocalypse? People you met during the Apocalypse? Have you formed/ found a small community (town size) people to be with? a very small band (10 or less) or have you found a way to survive on your own.
3. Who is in charge? Is there only one person making the decisions and rules or is there a group or does everyone have a say?
4. What is your role, if you are not in charge? Taking care of sick? going out for supplies? finding survivors? guarding wherever your base is for the night (or permanent if you are in one place.)
5. How are you getting supplies/food? (are you taking from wherever you can? Robbing other survivors for their supplies? Growing a farm maybe?)

Now how do you deal with new people?
1. If they have a noticeable handicap (missing arms/legs, or maybe right away can tell they are... slow in the brain)
2. What if there is more than just a few of them? (more than 4)
3. Do you let them in your group (by vote or do you decide this yourself)
4. What if they have a pregnant woman or a child under the age of 10 at least with them? Let them in?

Now how do you deal with other situations?
1. Someone needing constant medication or attention due to an illness? (examples or Cancer, Diabetes, Allergies or anything along those lines?)
2. How about Elderly/Children that cannot take care of themselves?
3. Any animals allowed? (remember 1 year in even if they can't get infected they still need food, also animals can cause diseases for humans.)
4. How do you deal with a bite that can be cut off? (is it up to the person or the leader if the body part gets cut off?
5. If someone breaks any rules, how do you deal with it?
6. If someone wants to run away from the group, do you let them?

Now your group/town/ gets overrun by the Zombies what do you do?

If you are alone and see a group in trouble what do you do? Help them? join them after words? go off on your own again?

One last thing... Do you save new people? Only people in your group? As many people as you can? Or only yourself.
Anything special you wanna add or ask from other people?

I'd like to think after one year I'd be living off the land on a small tropical island just off the mainland, making occasional short trips to the mainland for miscellaneous supplies.

2. Who are you with? family or friends still from before the Apocalypse? People you met during the Apocalypse? Have you formed/ found a small
community (town size) people to be with? a very small band (10 or less) or have you found a way to survive on your own.

Living the tribal life with the randoms I made it here with, have a Plan B for when tribe politics gets unstable and we need to part ways.

3. Who is in charge? Is there only one person making the decisions and rules or is there a group or does everyone have a say?

Me over me and my own, the strongest over the group.

4. What is your role, if you are not in charge? Taking care of sick? going out for supplies? finding survivors? guarding wherever your base is for the night (or permanent if you are in one place.)

Farming, building, gathering resources and fighting zombies.

5. How are you getting supplies/food? (are you taking from wherever you can? Robbing other survivors for their supplies? Growing a farm maybe?)

Hunting for supplies and farming.

1. Let them in regardless but if you can't pull your weight you better hope someone else can and is willing.
2. Same as above, but keep the group pulling in the right direction. It's better to be part of a small group that's on the same wavelength than a big group pulling in different directions.
3. Group discussion among the natural leaders of the group.
4. See 1.

1. Depends how I feel about them. I'd like to think I'd help but you don't know if you could take that burden on in those circumstances.
2. Probably would make allowances.
3. Almost certainly have dogs.
4. What happens happens.
5. Discuss it with the group, if I don't like the verdict I vote with my feet.
6. Yes. If I think I'm better off sticking with them I'll persuade them to stay or go with them.

Now your group/town/ gets overrun by the Zombies what do you do?

Pick up the pieces and start again.

If you are alone and see a group in trouble what do you do? Help them? join them afterwards? go off on your own again?

Help them at minimal risk, preferably capture them and screen them for information and group compatibility. It's a Mad Max world!

One last thing... Do you save new people? Only people in your group? As many people as you can? Or only yourself.

I'd look out for mine and my own first meaning me, my trusted friends, my woman, my offspring (who knows?), my dogs and my tribe. Everyone else would get treated like a business proposition. Charity is at my discretion.
