Zidane

I have two words for you regarding his voice: Son Goku. Biggest badass of his own universe, forever voiced by a very squeaky voiced woman.
To say that Zidane doesn't have a little monkey king in him is to very much deny his personality.

My goodness that makes so much sense O_O
I never even considered that. It seems quite obvious in hindsight :P

As for the whole 'burly' thing, I actually was thinking of Cecil and Golbez when I commented that >.>

I never even considered being immature or childish, just a little goofy if anything. I still maintain that Tidus was the most boyish character, after Onion Knight.

I LOVE Zidane in it personally! Actually, its pretty common for the Japanese to dub it like that (Seemingly older guy with a younger-ish voice). If any of you have seen Digimon, and remember Tai (Taichi) he sounds way younger in the original! Anyway, I love Zidane's voice in it. I think it suits him personally. xD
Im also dreading it when they dub it >.> Ive always hated dubs ^^;; I love all the voices in this actually~
And I thought Zidane stayed true to his FFIX roots as well (yay!) xD

In regards to how Zidane looks in Dissidia, I'd have to say I think he looks more manly than he did in FF9 cutscenes. I also think he looks taller than he did in FF9, I think its because they changed some of how he looks to make him fit in with the other more realistic characters... his clothing and general appearence are the same, but he looks more like a real person in Dissidia than he did in FF9. Which isn't a bad thing. Its certainly better than him sticking out like a sore thumb, when compared to the other, more realistic, characters.

As far as his voice goes, I remember hearing it awhile back but can't really think of what it sounds like right now... but I kinda always thought he'd sound girly, so it seems fitting that a woman does his voice.

Agreed. Altho. I like Zidane being the individual one. 'cuz he is ^_^ XD I wouldnt have had a problem with him sticking out personally~

As for his voice, I never would've thought they'd make it sound like that, but I love it~ When I first heard it, I was like "O_O ... ... I LOVE IT!!" xD

Why do they have a woman doing Zidane's voice in Dissidia?
And they really have him lookin girly in this one
Is that in the japanese version?Usually they have women do the voices of young boys/guys and Zidane is young.

Anyway I love Zidane but hearing that he has the voice of a woman really disappoints me but I do like his design overall.I'm glad they added a few more details on his costume.
