Help Yuffie

Yes, you can go through the whole dialogue sequence with Yuffie as many times as you like, until you get it right. xD You just gotta find her in the forest and woop her ass again.
For reference, this is how you get Yuffie to join you ^^
Yuffie will ask you to fight again:
— "not interested"
Yuffie will then taunt you again by saying you’re scared of her:
— "petrified..."
When she starts to leave, she’ll warn you that she is "really going to leave."
— "Wait a second"
She’ll then offer her services as a companion:
— "That’s right"
Yuffie will then tell you, "All right! I’ll go with you!"
— "...let’s hurry on"
Yuffie will then join your party.

Something I heard.
I heard if you want to date Yuffie in the gold saucer that you can select certain answers to boost the affection points as many times as you like.

I ran into Yuffie like 10 times in a row the first time I found her, trying to find the right choices =/ Seems like AGES ago I did that, though...never reached that point again, (just leaving Midgar with my new file =Q)
I never knew it was possible to go on the date with Yuffie o_o I've always had the luck of going with Tifa.....Speaking of which, though...I heard it was possible to go with Barret as well? Wth? That true?

Anyway got lucky and found her in my first battle after loading up the game again

I don't think ive ever been fussed enough about her to think about this because i've always known the correct answers to her. But if she didn't join i wouldn't care, i don't think ive ever used her
That's really the first time I've ever heard of anyone using Yuffie in their party. I never thought she was so great...ranked around the same area as Vincent. Kinda pointless. I at least thought Vincent was cool, though 
IIRC she has the 2nd best magic stat aside from Aeris (and possibly Cloud, now I think about it). Plus, her Conformer is very useful when it comes to using Morph (ie, stat-maxing on the Gelnika).
Not to mention my only other party options at the moment aren't ones I'm to fond of. I tend to use Barret and Aeris only very rarely as I just downright don't like them. Cait Sith I plan to never use as I think he/she is just a ridiculous character that makes no sense to be part of the story so it's down to Tifa, Yuffie and Red XIII
True but at low levels shes is quite strong but you reach a point where she hits a wall of power and then shes weak untill you get the conformer. But even then I didn't use her. Not untill I played a mastered game in which you get everyone to 99.
Heh. I like having Barret in the party, he adds a little bit of variety to it all. Not to mention I love his guns, and prefer them over Vincent's. His Limits also seem very cool to me.
Yuffie on the other hand, as other people said, remained untouched untill I went to master my game and get everyone to 99. I never felt she was all that powerfull, even in the lower levels.
I've also heard, (from my mom, who's most likely to have Yuffie in her party) that Yuffie is the best character to morph with, with her Conformer. I've also heard that she's the best person to steal with.
But out of the 10 turns I let her and Tifa take, Tifa got 8 accurate, and Yuffie 4... =/
Yuffie's last limit, is also something I got told to be "good", but I wasn't too interested in it.
As far as the being high in rank with materia goes, I really think that depends on WHAT you give the character. Because if they have THEIR right set of materia they are max-ed out in the hits they give. =/
Aside from all that though, I never cared too much for Yuffie. She's a character I can stand in-game, and during battles, unlike another character, but...
I'll stick to my own party.
