I just taught my cat, Tidus how to play fetch! I just threw his cat toy, some little ball with a bell, (or whatever the hell is in there that causes it to make that sound...) and he retrieved it with his mouth and he brought it back! Then I just took it from there, he brings it back, but doesn't put it in my hand like I want him to, he always drops it next to me, then starts playing with it.

My cat taught herself how to fetch, apparently. o_O

Of course, she'll only fetch when she wants you to play. I made her a little toy mouse of of yarn and those annoying shoulder pads you find in some women's shirts. Sometimes, she'll walk up to someone with the mouse in her mouth and just make the sweetest, cutest sounding meow I've ever heard from any cat. ^______^ She'll set it down nearby and wait for someone to throw it. Then she goes to get it and brings it back, setting it down nearby again.

Buuuut yes...a cat playing fetch is cute. ^_^

I have a dog that plays soccer. =]

Beat that! XD

A cat that plays fetch is really pretty cool, but the only thing is that Tidus never shuts the hell up. Constantly having to hear ''Meoooow-meoooow-meoooow--rawawawwwwwwwwrrrn'' all night is a pain.

Oh wow...that's really something....just a second. *Leaves for two hours* Okay, I beat that, because now Tidus can play the flute.

LOL.
Most cats will 'fetch' when they are young and inexperienced. When they hit a certain spot in thier lives they suddenly think "hang about...I am a CAT. I will not demean myself any longer...that Human of mine must fetch for me." and we do.
You see, cat's were worshiped as Gods hundreds of years ago...and cats remember this.
You do not own a cat.....the cat owns you.

oh so true, my cat played fetch when he was young, now, he expects to be treated like royalty, he never likes to go in litter boxes, hates being cramped, and scratches whenever you tell him to stop doing something he is doing (uhh..that doesn't sound right, does it?>_<)

yes it does

try this though

i taught my snake to play tennis.....sort of

i gave it a racket it stuck the handle in its mouth and i threw the ball to the racket and it batted the ball back

yay for smart snakes :)
