Your Favourite FMVs/Cut Scenes in FF?

So what are all your guys best FMVs/Cut scenes out of all the FFs?
I love the Alexandria Vs Bahamut one and the Assault of the White Dragons from FFIX.
I also like the Battle of the Gardens from 8 and blowing up Al Bhed's home and assaulting Bevelle from 10.
As you can see I love the Action Scenes!
 
1) Final Fantasy XII's opening- the Battle of Nalbina

2) Final Fantasy X's Tidus+Yuna kiss scene in Macalania

3) Final Fantasy X-2's 1000 Words sang in Thunder Plains

4) Final Fantasy IX- Kuja using Bahamut to destroy Alexandria and face Alexander

5) Final Fantasy X's ending

I love no. 2, 3 and 5 due to their emotional impact. Yuna's performance (no.2) is particularly astounding because it's not often that happens in a game.

1 and 4 involved action, violence and destruction- showing off exactly the unparalleled vistas that Square is capable of with CGI.

Oh my... Hmm. Something I recall loving really much was the opening to FFIV (DS) and when you awaken the weapon in FFVII. ^^
 
X - The wedding scene where they're sliding on the ropes, the kiss scene, and the opening.

X-2 - the opening lol and the scene where shuyin plays the piano

VIII - where squall is running from the big mechanical spider
 
1) A popular one, but I will go with the masses, the opening of VIII.

2) IX's end, I love it when a plan comes together!

3) X, tidus and yuna scene in macalania (I do love the tear jerker moments)

Auron getting sent - which IMO deserved to be an FMV was an EPIC cut scene, I totally just blubbed like a girl, it was such a moving scene and th music too...ang it chokes me up just thinking about it ¬.¬

The sorceress memorial rescue scene, I love how theres actually no music at the point sh ejust falls into his arms, it jsut seems to add more impact, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside /gay
I quite like the scene on the ragnorak too I love the song and its such a touching little scene

the battle between Alexander and Bahamut, pure win, that is one of my favourite battle scenes ever

and Im done for now :gasp:
 
Agh tough choices! Well let's see. I REALLY loved the sorceress memorial scene in FFVIII. Like Auron above me, I love how the whole thing is just silent and when Rinoa falls into Squall's arms you can just feel the love and tenderness the two feel for one another. The whole Ragnarok cutscene with Eyes On Me playing was awesome. I wish they'd made that into an FMV and not a cut scene.

Another favorite would have to be FFX's ending scene. While it's positively sad and heartbreaking, it was well executed. You can see the emotion so clearly in both Yuna and Tidus' eyes as he says his farewell. Yuna's ending speech was also pretty touching and emotional. Especially the part where she says "Or the dreams that have faded, never forget them." I was all types of choked up, lol.

There are so many cutscenes I love watching in FFX, like the one where Seymour shows them the sphere of the old Zanarkand from 1000 years past. That's another gorgeous one. Also FFVIII's opening FMV. So bad ass. It's really hard to chose just one favorite.
 
FFIX has some epic FMVs, particularly love Bahamut vs Alexander. It always sticks in my mind as a totally iconic FMV, and it's one of the high points of FFIX for me.

The opening FMVs for FFX and FFXII are really great too, with a lot of energy and great music - both are the perfect way to get the games off to a flying start :awesome:

There's others, I just can't think of them now :ness:
