You like horror games?

Horror games aren't how they were back then, the developers put too many action elements in them now that take away what little horror factor the game had. Look at Resident Evil, it stopped being a horror game at the 4 installment. It's sad really, its like the people that work on the games don't know what horror is anymore.

Haha that was pretty funny, well 'Justin TV' has always funny gameplay videos when they scream like little girls :D could condemned 2 be better than the original ?

That's my favorite horror game EVER :pockets: I'm so excited about #2 as well!

I LOVE a good horror game, but it has to do it's job right, and be nice and creepy, with a touch of epic! Although I do get annoyed by the "go to the new place that looks like this old place for the key to this other place" missions at times...and the walking....UGH...The walking! I know it helps the feeling and all, but I get tired of walking, and wanna run sometimes. :sad3:
 
I've tried to play horror games numerous times. But I just get jumpy, then panic which leads to game over. I have no problem with horror movies, but when I play a horror game, I get the feeling that I'm actually in a horror movie.That creeps me out.

Hmm, may i recommend you to play Horror games with your friends? (or have you already made it) :) that's the fun part with horror games, to share the creepiness with others.
 
I enjoy them. I wouldn't call myself a major fan of the genre, with the exception of Resident Evil series and Dino Crisis, but I do enjoy them. I've played Silent Hill 4 and while I will say the graphics are great for it's time and make the game look creepy, it didn't really scare me as much as I hoped. Maybe I just started off with the worst game of the series or something. I've also played Fatal Frame 2 as well and that game is the scariest game I've played in a while.
 
Hey fellor's. im really into these type's of bone chillin horror's also.
My best favorite's, Resident evil's, Silent hill's, Dead Rising, Eternal Darkness, Castlevania's, F.E.A.R. Can't remember whatelse. Of course i havent beaten every game in those game series i listed there. But im on a mission to play an beat them all. Anyone have any recommendation's for some other horror's i should look out for? Right now i also have these game's but never got around to playin them yet.

Obscure 1n2, Fatal Frame 1n2, Cursed Mountain, House of the Dead: Overkill, Condemned, The Darkness, Jericho, Left 4 Dead, Bioshock, Vampire Rain, Nocturne, The Suffering.

well, i guess i already got a crap load of game's i need to buy. but i always could use more recommendation's. an the last horror game i beat was: Kouldelka, It's an old ps1 game, it;s like Residentevil with rpg turn based battle's. The battle's are slow due to loading tho. I played it cuz someone said it was the prequel to the Shadow Heart's game's. I gotta start shadow heart's part 1 someday also.
 
Im not a huge fan but i enjoy playing one from time to time. I remember as a kid Resident Evil used to scare the Crap outta me! one time i was playing on my bed, i had bunk beds,and im about a hour in and just my focus is straight RE and right on some very suspenseful walk down a hallway my sister jumps from the top bunk and scares the skin off of me and i jump and bang my head on the wood above. lol./personal story done.

but i played the Fear demo and that little girl had me freaking out!

Like Res Evil? I dont recall zombies lol. It was a gothic horror RPG, one of the best going. Yeah its thr prequel to Shadow Hearts which is another gothic horror RPG. Do play it, 1 and 2 are brilliant. But 3 is meh.
 
I like horror games like Resident Evil and stuff. Even the Classics had some memorable moments like in Resident Evil 2 when the giant Licker burst through the glass of the Interrogation Room ( Lucky I had Leon's Shotgun ready or i would have died). Or in Resident Evil 3 when Nemesis kept Reappearing at every turn and corner. I like horror games that do that kinda stuff

Actually, there was zombie's in that game. And i think i even saw a zombie dog, and ya i get what you mean. The zombie's arent walkin around like in Resident Evil, i think you only see them in battle.
But what i meant was it was like resident evil, xploring the mansion. Getting clue's of what happened there, it used to be an ancient jail where ton's of fellor's died. That's why it's all haunted, and even the control's are like resident evil's, the old resident evil's anyway's. I enjoyed that game, but i hated how slow the battle's load an unload. I hope to start Shadow Heart's sometime soon, as most people tell me it's good. Just got to many other game's going right now tho.

I personally don't enjoy playing FEAR series because i'm not much into FPS horror thingy. I like more Silent Hill, Fatal Frame and other survival horror game genre.
 
I dont like horror games if you get killed but I like if all the horror characters (Bloddy Mary, Saw...) where in one place and then I could kick their ass with a Cross Slash!!!

Now i'm a bit scared that you might actually be the crazy one. Well anyways we can come up with a positive side and with opposite side, there is nothing bad with being a crazy, and being a total dumb is the negative and opposite side. Pretty random talk, but that's the truth.
 
Meh they are ok. Tried Alan Wake out and it is not that bad. Its creepy though I am generally not a fan of horror games. I mean they just fuck with your mind etc etc. They dont generally scare me though. Only silent hill
 
I love horror games. I remember playing Silent Hill on the ps1 when I was in 3rd grade. That game was the shit. I never have beaten the game yet, but I do think that I got very close before stopping. I was on some level where the hospital is like a rusted out dark path of hallways, idk its been so long. I would probably have to say that Silent Hill is my favorite all time horror game series. Resident Evil is badass too. RE1 is quite possibly the best horror game I have played. Absolutely loved that game, and Albert Wesker is a badass.

I like horror-games that are able to scare you without all the blood and gore, the kind that leaves stuff to your imagination and Fatal Frame, Haunting Ground(?) and Rule Of Rose are good examples of that. To be honest, the Fatal Frame games are honestly the best series of horror games i've played and I haven't played anything yet that scared me so bad to the point where I felt like crying. ROFL. XD

I don't like horror games, I'm not good handling horror, but I agree 100%, those are the only horror games I can deal with, I can't stand bloody and gorey scare-the-heck-outta-me anything. :P

I remember being over at a friend's when she was playing Fatal Frame III. That game was so freaky, but I didn't get scared--as in pee-in-my-pants kind of scared. But still... that game gives me the creeps.
 
Horror games are chill ^_^ i love Silent Hill, the GC RE remake, and can't forget Dead Space, that one was an insant classic for me!
 
Nver played silent hill but after I watched the movie I was curious howt he games would be.

I've only played Resident evil 4 and 5. 5 sucked on scary wise so I wont classify that one as horror. But 4 scared the crap out of me sometimes. Like when a zombie runs out of an unexpected place and those Iron maiden monsters walking creepily towards you out of an unexpecting corner with those spikes and their creepy noises!
