VIII over VII
Newbie
first off, i wanna say, YES i did like VIII more than VII, no matter how hard it is to believe
. i liked the materia system more in FF VII, but i LOVE the fact that you can stock/cast your enemies spells, i liked the GFs, junctioning, the card game, pretty much everything in VIII more than VII, except Reno, he has been my favorite FF character since i watched Advent Children
anyway, i have been a final fantasy fan since i was about 8, and i am 15 now. i had a copy of VII for PS first, i lost the second disk, so i bought it for PC, and when i was about to the part where you get locked up and jenova escaped (i think thats what happened, if i remember it right) i dropped my speakers on my first disk, and made a big crack in it, and about a year later, i got another copy for the PS ( <= fixed, PS instead of PC) which i lost when i moved (im not lucky with CDs, never have been
) so i got VIII and i loved it more than VII
long introduction, but basically, what i am saying is....
VIII is the best offline game i have played on the PC, right above Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
i am currently replaying VII, VIII, and III (i switch back and forth repeatedly when i feel like playin one)
