Xehanort's relative?

I've done some thinking and wondered something about Xehanort and Riku. Could they be related? What sprung the idea was originally the first cutscene

. If thats where Xehanort lived could he possibly be the father or relative of Riku??? They do have the same hair colour.

Well, we're talking about the Japanese here. It's rare to see anything they make where there's NOT fifteen characters in a show with white or silver hair. They love that shit.

And to answer you question, I highly doubt that there's any relation. The only reason Riku was relevant was because:

Terra did the little "your a Keyblade Master" thing to him.

Although, considering how old Xehanort was in BBS, it's possible he's his grandfather. Again, however, I don't think there's any family relation.

That would be a terrible, terrible plot twist. It's a fantasy game, not a soap opera. There's absolutely no evidence to suggest a relation either.

I doubt so. I thought he had just been passing by when I saw that cut scene. And, yeah, like what Kerrigan says, I would think that would be quite a nightmarish plot twist, A funny idea to entertain though, haha.

I really don't think they were related. It wouldn't make any sense with the current knowledge we have on the series and it would be a horrible revelation. The color of their hair is something Japanese game characters usually have to look cool. I honestly don't think there is a relation.
