Xehanort Report 10? POSSIBLE SPOILER!!!

In the first scene, Ventus is seen in Destiny Islands... So Xehanort is from Destiny Islands? What could be the significance of this? Discuss!

I haven't beaten the game 100% complete yet, but I think it's mentioned about a boy who left Destiny Islands "a long time ago" (I think it was Terra's POV when he himself goes to Destiny Islands), and I forget, but something tips you off that Xehanort was that boy.

Xeanhort Report 10, when paired with the opening cutscene, does confirm that Xeanhort was born on Destiny Islands. Does creep me out that he might also be related to Riku more than we think he is.

Well it,the games, never states anything realy about parentage,I have no idea why everyone/thing is born/created from someone/thing/being. Perhaps they plan to expand on this in some way in a future game/games.
I always thought it odd how they never realy revealed relatives of Sora,Rikku,Kairi in previous games.Not thet they realy mattered at the time but I still think it would be interesting to see how the parents came into play and see whos related to who.

No, seriously, I believe all the information does conclude that Xehanort was from Destiny Islands. Although that could hint at a possible connnection to Riku, all I can really say with the current info that we have is what Kevin said, that there could be a possible connection to Riku.

And remember when Terra was talking to Riku? At one point he saw a younger version of Xehanort. No way is that for nothing. I just wonder HOW related they are...

While there is a clear connection between Xehanort and Destiny Islands, that's pretty much all we can deduce from hard facts. While there are little hints dropped in Terra's POV, it still leads to speculation.

If they wanted to explain it further, they would have included it in Blank Points. But they didn't, unless my memory is fuzzy.

Although, if Xehanort is related to Riku, it would explain why he has such a high affinity and high tolerance to Darkness.
