XBox XBox 360 region question

K guys, Im heading to Austrilia next week and alas Mass Effect 2 is going to be released the day Im going

So I thought I could maybe pick it up from Austrilia and play it when I get home. But will 360 games from Oz play on a PAL system? Ive imported Lost Odessy before from Japan and it worked fine.

So anyone know if its compatible?

I imagine so. Australia and the UK are both in the PAL region, as well as New Zealand. So technically all PAL games should work with PAL format.

Although Lost Odyssey being an exception was surprising. It may be one of the few Xbox 360 games that are region free. If you imported it from Japan, you did a great job going through the kanji! 8F

Actually, Most Australian games are heavily censored, so UK and US games are locked from an australian xbox, because of the rating given by australia, so odds are, the game will be region locked, its not worth trying, because australian games are also very expensive, so you might want to rethink your odds here

Thanks for the link hun. That was some very useful info. I was told they are both PAL regions from someone at work (computer game shop), just thought Id double check with pals online. Thank you

I was lucky with LO as it has both Japanese and English voice and subtitle options! So Im playing through in English and next time in Japanese XD
