I went back and made a new game and fought Gilgamesh and when I defeated him I was a very angry child....the sword that Gilgamesh leaved behind is the Wyrmhero Blade. IT'S RIGHT THERE!!! T___T Instead of taking it as a prize for defeating Gilgamesh we HAVE to make it T___T

It was right there Vaan!!! Dx!!!!
 
That wasn't the real one - it was a fake like the rest of his sword collection. If you examine it, Vaan will comment upon how its seems a little 'different'.
 
Actually....if you examine it it only says:

"It appears to be an ordinary sword of legend."

That is all, besides, all the other fake swords have something on them, like a sticker of mark, this one has nothing. That's why it looks so authentic. But then again how can that be the one when the Blade hasn't even been made yet e.e;;
 
Exactly -'an ordinary sword of legend'. Also on the blade of his Buster Sword, it says 'Fake' in Kanji, this could suggest the rest of them are.
 
The Beastiary suggests his swords might not be authentic aswell.

Man are you serious I never knew about that before 40 hit combo!? Still I knew about the Wyrmhero Blade, and don't you get Genji gloves off uhh Gilgamesh?

Yeah never gotten that blade but I really want too, it seems like it's gonna be tough to get.

If he had the real swords, then he would've had to have taken the Buster Sword off Cloud (likely? nah) the Lionheart off Squall (likely? nah) Brotherhood off Tidus (likely? probably)

When you see him for the last time he heard of treasure in the Barheim Passage, turns out it was the Matamune fishing rod, as opposed to the Masamune sword. So he doesn't have much luck in finding what he's looking for.

Yeah from Gilgamesh. You get all the Genji gear off him. Steal after every little cutscene of him pulling out a new sword. Then the second time you fight him, steal after every time he talks, and you have all the Genji gear.
 
Stealing from him for me was a problem because the time that I went to fight him my party was way too powerful and drained his health way too quickly so I had to have two people stealing and one healing them until I got what I wanted -.-
 
Out of the three things you have to do to get the Wyrmhero Blade, I think the fishing challenge is the most difficult. I've beaten both Yiazmat and Omega, but that fishing thing, man, it pisses me RIGHT off. Any tips? :P
 
On the last place where you fish, don't even attempt to press in the code when it's moving up or down the screen, unless you have super turbo fingers, just do it when it goes left to right or vice versa.

The codes are generally the same everytime, so you just need to memorise them and you should have no problem punching them in.

All of the combinations go left to right, mistake I was making was hitting them in the order they scrolled accross the screen (so if it came from the right, I was hitting the button furthest to the right) So no matter what direction they come from, always start from the left.

Apart from them that it just takes patience.
