I think this would be an awesome idea, start a new FF anime series.

If they did which FF would you like to see as Anime?

I'm all for FF VII.

A Final Fantasy VIII anime would be amazing. i would love to see an anime version of Edea and Ultimecia

What type of storylines could they do with VII?

I would prefer to see an anime version of the game with side stories in it.
 
Well, I liked what they did with FF7 The Last Order and I wouldnt mind watching an anime based on the game produced like that one
 
i woul like every ff made into an anime, it would be rather interesting with all the personality clashes
 
I've always wanted proper Final Fantasy animes, not ones where the developers are given so much leeway to the point the end product looks like a random anime with the Final Fantasy name stamped on it. That's how both Legend of the Crystals and Unlimited felt to me, at least. Though I haven't watched it yet (but I do have it), Last Order looks to be the kind that I've been waiting for.

Also, season lengths work far better for translating FF than film. Like others, I'd love to see seasons of FF, each one retelling a chapter in the series with some trimming as well as side excursions.

On top of that, I still can't believe FF hasn't been made as a comic (yes there are mangas, but most of those are either too goofy or too yaoi). I'd even settle for what's been done recently with the Kingdom Hearts series. In fact, I'd be quite happy with that.
 
An anime serious of FFX would be cool, it could be based around Jecht's story of being taken from Zanarkand and whisked into Spira where he becomes Braska's Guardian along with Auron...the only let down would be that we know how the story ends before it begins, of course
