I created a thread and this is about the celestial weapons of the characters of the game. What is the worst celestial weapon/s in the entire game? Caladbolg, Spirit Lance, World Champion, Godhand(weapons that hit hard with high HP) vs. Masamune(weapon that hit hard with low HP) vs. Nirvana, Onion Knight(weapons that hit hard with high MP).
For me, the worst are the weapons that hit hard with high MP. Why? Because in certain battles, there are attacks that depletes your character's MP to 0 like Penance's Immolation, Dark Cindy's Camisade, and Dark Anima's Oblivion. So, if you have 255 strength, your attacks will only deal 5000+ damage, which is pretty embarassing for having the max strength. You would have to use 2 turbo ethers or 10 ethers or 1 elixir if you have 999MP to replenish it yet, wasting precious turns. And those items are really rare. Right?
My second worst are WEAPONS THAT HIT HARD WITH HIGH HP particularly Caladbolg, Spirit Lance, World Champion, and Godhand. My reason: I really find it hard to keep my party in full health. And also, once Tidus', Kimahri's, Wakka's, and Rikku's HP falls below half of their max HP, they won't be able to hit 99,999 damage anymore especially if they have "powerbreak" status effect even if their strength is 255. I really don't customize my armors with Defense +20% and Auto-Potion at the same time. It makes the game a lot easier. And I don't like it that way.
And my best is the WEAPON THAT HITS HARD WITH LOW HP which is Masamune. My reason: In boss battles, you don't have full health all the time. And if you are going to observe closely, once Auron's strength is 255, luck is more than 150, and he is using Masamune, he won't be dealing any damage lower than 99,999 anymore even if he has full health and suffers from "powerbreak." So if the enemies just damage him, they just make him even more stronger. Unlike the other weapons that even if you have 255 strength, you can still hit lower than 99,999 damage.
