I could say the same thing about cookie dough uncooked as opposed to cooked. I don't have an answer but to stay objective to the post, I would say that the sugary goodness from cake batter is like syrup from mountain dew. Delicious.

ben and jerry's cooke dough ice cream is AMAZING.
And yeah cake mix tastes sooo good from the bowl before you cook it. In fact, to hell with the cooking, i'd rather eat raw cake mix!!
 
Mm, no I think the finished cake is better. Especially since it has all the sweet garnishes on it already.

Unless you mean a plain cake cake.
