WHY POT!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

Why do people do alot of things? Cocaine, ecstasy, heroin....alcohol..... <_<

People just do things. Whether it's bad for them or not. They do it because they 'enjoy' it, regardless of the negative effects of it. I knew smoking could potentially give me lung disease, or alcohol liver failure but I still did/do it
 
Pot's probably considered to be one of the drugs, which is, by far, much less harmful than alcohol. It's interesting that alcohol is seen as less of a problem than such drugs.

I'm going to move this over to Costa Del Sol, for now, given that this seems to be more of a rant than a serious discussion.

Peer pressure, the feeling it apparently gives you, medicinal purposes. There's a lot of reasons. A lot of the time people only do it out of curiosity, to see what it's like.
 
People say they also smoke because of stress. They feel this need to smoke their problems away. I, am probably one of the most stressed individuals there is. And yet, I've never once put a fag in my mouth.

Plenty of other reasonable, easy on your health ways to distress.

Who needs cigarettes when you can have a nice hot bath and some hot chocolate and a lovely book. >__>
 
Why isn't tobacco classified as a drug then? It certainly does a shitload more damage to your body and the environment than weed does. I smoke a few times a month, big deal, i'm not gonna do anything stupid besides maybe play some games and laugh at something that isn't funny at all and have the munchies,, but i'd rather smoke pot than tobacco anyday.

Also, our state made it legal to carry a certain amount on you and ya can't be arrested for it.

All in all, my choice, i like it. I don't use it to calm stress or anything like that ( although it does help my knees ache less, i got really bad knee problems >< ), it's just something i like doing now and then with some pals and having some fun.

Like said, my body, if i want to smoke pot, i will, if i want to be a fat bastard for the rest of my life and die mowing down BBQ wings while watching PRON, i will. :wacky: ( and i probably will xD )
 
Bajeez, I think that people who get drunk as a social event are wastes of resources but that's their choice and they can do what they like. >_> Unless I care about them of course, but that's different. I'm sure there are plenty of things that you do that people think is just plain stupid. :monster:
 
I dont understand it either. But then again I dont understand why people smoke cigs, drink huge amounts and act like complete dicks ... Oh sorry thats just my ex's lol.
