Who's your favorite FFVIII character?

Hey, I was looking through the posts on this forum. I noticed there wasn't a who's your favorite character thread, or there was but it got old and deleted.
Please if you're going to post don't say: Squall. Period. or something stupid like that. Name at least two good reasons why you like this character.

My favorites are Laguna, Squall, Zell, and Seifer.
It was really hard to pick from all these guys. I like Laguna because he is a voice of reason, an undying soul that is determined no matter what.
I like Zell because he has his own fighting style instantly making him kickass. He was also good for comic relief.
I like Squall because the animal he chose to represent his attitude was a lion. Lions are a symbol of great strength and pride, telling me alot about his character already.

But I finally decided that Seifer was my favorite from FFVIII.
I like him because he's a cocky, self righteous, arrogant, stubborn prick. Just like me.
Also I liked the Hyperion and his battle stance better than Squall's. It makes me angry I can't have him at the end of the game. He also reminds me alot of myself.

I love Squall he's my favorite but Seifer, Zell and Rinoa all come close.

I choose Squall because I like his character devlopment at the start of the game he's a 'lone wolf' and you see him slowly open up through out the game. I also think he has the greatest limit ever espicalliy with Lionheart it got me out of alot tough battles

I would have to choose Squall. I choose him because I like how he slowly begins to reveal his feelings about other people.

1) when i started playing FF8 the only character i saw i most like was Squall.

2) He just really is awesome not to mention he has a pretty kool outfit

Rinoa, Zell, and Laguana were good characters that added some good personality to the game

I picked squall 'cause I love the background story of him and I'm alot like that so hes cool in my book and i think hes better than seifer 'cause he doesnt drag or get cocky about things he's always calm and collected
Plus he's pretty much the top member of SeeD

Squall is cool and all, but I have to go with Seifer. I liked his attitude a little more then Squall's.

It would have to be a toss up between Squall and Rinoa. Squall is one of my favorite male characters in the FF series though.
