Which type of magic do you prefer the type in FFVIII where you have to keep drawing from enemies when ever you run out so you can keep using magic or like in FFX where you have MP and can restore it when ever you get the chance

Yup, MP because it's more traditional.
Plus, you can replete your magic easier, as you don't have to find specific monsters to draw specific magic.

MP - its more reliable and fun to use. Besides once you learn a spell you know that you'll always have it - unlike in VIII where magic is like an item

Yes, there is always a danger that drawn magic will run out.
MP magic, on the other hand, is infinite as long as you have ether/turbo ether....whatever.

Plus, drawing magic can fail, and most annoyingly when you need something like Curaga the most.
Or, I hated the fact that you had to search for specific draw points for rare magic. Like AG said above, MP magic stays forever, and powerful magic are always in your inventory/spell list.
Drawing things like meteor usually results in you just getting one or two total per draw points.

Definitely MP. I will admit and say it was a strange but nice change for FFVIII to use the draw system but I am glad that it hasn't been implemented in the titles released after.

traditional mp all the way ff8 was a cool change but mp seems more believable
