Which game should I play first?

I have just bought final final fantasy anthology (Uk version)
Which game do you think i should play first?
Also are there any things i can miss in the game or anything i should be warned about?

FINAL FANTASY 6. FINAL FANTASY 5 is shit. trust me. you'll break your controller. If you have any questions about 6, ask me as you go through the game. I love my sweet precious Celes. Imo, FF6 is the third best FF out there.

Thanks i got ff6. I put the uk version becuase unlike the USA version the uk one had FF4 and FF5 not FF5 and FF6. But thanks though.
 
Id say play FFIV first as its easier and more fun to play ^_^ however FFV is more challenging to play - but if you like job systems then its the one for you :)

Or just bypass them both and play FFVI - it pwns them both ^_^
 
Thanks i did play ff6 years ago i think i got far. I'm not sure why i stopped playing it, might have been when ff9 came out. Anyway is there anythink that you can miss in final fantasy 4 or 5. For example if you did not open a chest at some point in the game you would never be able to get that item again.
 
Out of the older games, I still have yet to play FFIII and FFIV. I loved FFV. FFVI was... meh. FFII is pretty good... and FFI is painful but it's still worth a playthrough. Honestly FFVI has the best music but the worst everything else.
 
Mixed thoughts hmm.... i thought that everone thought final fantasy 6 was better than final fantasy 4 and 5.
 
A lot of people do enjoy Final Fantasy VI more than FFIV and FFV. I just don't happen to agree. I've yet to play Final Fantasy IV... but I can say that Final Fantasy V is a great game. Either way though, you probably won't be disappointed. Final Fantasy VI is the first game in the series that features a large plot of characters... and they forgot to assign anyone as the main character. lol
 
Yeah you have got me thinking which is better and i have created another thread about which is better final fantasy 4,5 or 6 now lol.
 
I'd hit 'em up right in order, but I personally played FFV, then FFVI, and now FFIV.

FFV is one of my favorites, and of course FFVI is one of the all-time best as well. FFIV's turning out to be pretty good though, so I say your safe with any of them.
 
Yeah i expected them all to be good. So there is nothing i can miss in any of them like the zodiac spear on final fantasy 12?
 
Yeah i played them both final fantasy 7 was great!!
Anyway i did get past that train of final fantasy 6 but that was years ago so i have forgot what happened past that haha.
 
YOU SHOULD FINISH IT. FINISH.... Also, if you play FFVI again, I insist that once you get Celes, make her one of your best people. Runic is the coolest command ever. It blocks almost all magic and then she absorbs it as MP. Totally awesome!
 
Yeah i want to play final fantasy 4 and 5 first. I'm not sure which one to play first though.
 
I would say Final Fantasy IV. Cecil and Kain kick ass. It does have a decent story and there is quite a lot of characters (I think it has the second most out of the FF series). One of my favourites so I would reccomend. :)
 
Well i have started final fantasy 4. Anyone have any hints or tips for me (Without giving away to much) ^_^
