i would love to see a sequel of the classic games, 1-6. sequels of those would stop them from dying out.

Well i would like to see a sequel to 8. I want to see more gunblade action and see what Squall is up to of course. Though I am not really sure what the plot could be. As for any other sequels well i guess maybe some of the older ones could get a sequel if they could come up with a new plot or a new enemy or something. I haven't really played any of the really old one except the remake of 1 for psp.

I'd be afraid of a sequel to any of the games. Look at X-2 and Yuna. I can imagine they'd all make the female characters look like sluts. But if they didn't do that (but I'm pretty sure they would), I would like to see a sequel to IX.
The whole epilogue thing was weird. We didn't get to see what happened to Vivi, Amarant (we saw him crossing a bridge, but that's about it), and Kuja. Although I presume Vivi and Kuja are dead anyway. Maybe a prequel?

I'm not to keen on the idea of a sequel because of the epic fail that is X-2.
But if done right I would like to see a sequel to VIII. Mainly because I would like to see that world in next generation graphics. I believe of all the older FF games that would be one of the most beautiful enhanced games. I can't think of a good plot for it.
After that I would pick IX simply because of the atmosphere from that game. I would like to see it with an enhanced engine as well, but I somehow feel it might end up like XII's world. Problem with a sequel to IX is that the music of IX is what made the game so great to me. Without the same composer it wouldn't feel the same.

I'd like to see one more sequel to VII, seeing as how they left unanswered questions about Genesis and his "brothers" at the end of DOC.
Other than that, I don't really want any of the other games to have a sequel. As seen with X, messing with the storyline isn't always a good thing. Well, I'd go for the one that left the most unanswered questions during the end...so...with FFVII having 2 sequels, (And 3 prequals) I don't think there's any need for more there. FFX has FFX-2, XII has Revenant Wings, and FFV has it's anime sequel (though set many years after but that's beside the point)
So...off the top of my mind...probaly FFVI, I would be slightly interested to see if anything in particular happened (Did the Empire return with a new face of evil? Did people move back into Narshe? What happened to Banon? Maybe a bigger insight into who Shadow really is? Or an insight into who Gogo is? Etc)

X-2 never came out in my books, it ruined the characters and the feeling of X, i dont think iv ever passed X-2 i tried to on many occasions but it was such a dumb game.
Movies on the other hand are always good cause i love CG
The movie of 7 was silly, they killed off seperoth in an hour, other than 70 hours game play to get to him!
Seeing in the game they killed off everyone when they showed the old big city in ruins. And Vivi died at the end of number 9 aswel. I say kill off the characters at the end of every game to prevent a sequal.

Personally, I don't want to see anymore sequels to any FF game. They just can't do them, and when they try they fuck it up - see FFX2 for details. Crises Core was brilliant, but only because they really couldn't change any current characters - like they couldn't take Barret, and warp him so he's totally different from how he was in FFVII.
FFXII already has a sequel, it's for the DS, it's called Revanant Wings, I doubt they'd make another one D=

^ I think you get a lot of information about that in the game, specially from the different spheres you find. I am thinking more about how it all started, the events and the war leading to the summoning of dream Zanakard, how Yunalesca first defeated sin and how the whole Final Summoning tradition began and continued for 1000 years. It would be nice to see more of that.
But I doubt it will happen and after seeing how they very much ruined Yuna in X-2...I fear they may end up ruining everything else in a prequel.

Yeh i agree with the guy who said there shouldnt be any more lol, those that hav already been done have been done TOO much lol. Would be nice to see a IX sequel, but the game ended really well, one of th best endings in my opinion. If there was a Kuja spin-off which involved him repenting, that could be good. Then again, didnt he die lol, it didnt really say for sure. Also, an FFXII spin off based on the war between the empires could be quite epic, assuming the role of one of the empires and if the characters in FFXII failed to save the world etc....
