So, where do you read your books?

I read mine mostly in my room, sitting on my bed meditatively.
Yes, I'm serious. :|
Second would be at community service, where I basically have 5 hours time to read.

I'm always busy. The only chance I get to read would be in the washroom, and on the train to and from work.

Warm regards,

Um, I read them in different places. When I was in high school, I read a lot of novels...in the bathtub. By the time I finish two chapters, the water gets usually cold and that's when I finish up.

Then there's the couch in the living room, as well as my bedroom. I'll even read them out in the porch if it's not too sunny. I used to read them in the car too, but I always end up getting sick...however, if the book is extremely interesting and a must-read, then I'll read it anyway, not caring if I get sick or not.

I also read in the kitchen. Like, if I'm cooking and it takes awhile to cook, I'll sit down and read, my elbows propped in the table, book in hands. xD

I hope you mean reading in the car while the thing is stopped. :|
(Sorry, Driver's Ed is getting to me...)

I can read my book in a vehicle like the bus, there's enough room for me to read, although it is bumpy...but that was a long time ago when my vision was so-so.
I read my books in a car on long trips however.

I can't read in the car, I get headaches.

I usually read books and magazines in my room before I go to bed. Very quiet. I also read on the train when ever I have to go to the city. During the school year I read in the Library, obviously. They have great quiet rooms.

I read alot, everywhere. Most of my reading is actually done in the bathroom when I'm taking a stool sit :monster:. Bed before sleep is a popular one too. But the optimal environment: on a nice day, going to the beach and reading is unrivaled.

On the bus on the way to/from work, in the living room before I go to bed, and sometimes in my bedroom in the evenings.

Oh yeah, and occasionally when I'm in the bathroom XD

On long train trips, waiting for transportation, in the living room with the TV on or in my bedroom. I love reading on trains, makes the joureny fly by.

Usually before I go to bed and mostly fantasy style books. I never have time during the day.

Who would wanna know where you read your books :P

I read encyclopedias at on my bed. In long rides I usually play with psp

LOL! I do the exact same thing Fields...well, longer then than I do now. >.>
Especially when it's a captivating read, it's potty time. :monster:
I read way too much in there, really, the bathroom I mean.

I read the same places I write. Bathroom, gazebo, or the forest behind our house. I honestly don't read much anymore though. The only time I ever sit down with a book is when I feel like rereading "Count of Monte Cristo" which is pretty much the only book I enjoy reading anymore.

In bed before I go to sleep, or outside in the sun on an awesome day that's pretty warm out.

Haha I've read in the tub too, on occasions. Mostly though I take showers to bathe, so that typically wouldn't work out to well... If I'm not the one driving I'll read on a long drive. I take my current books with me to work for my breaks or if I'm on the shitter either there or at home, in bed before sleep, anywhere in my house but commonly either on bed, in this computer chair, or somewhere out in the living room or kitchen if I'm snacking at the time.

I used to go to our apartment complex's pool a lot too, so I'd swim for a bit and then get out and chill in one of those lawn chairs out there and read a bit before going back inside.

I do most of mine in the car to and from work, since I have a pretty extensive collection of audiobooks. Otherwise, like many, I read most while conducting my business in the bathroom.
