Where are people finding this game to play it? It's not out here until the 23rd Feb

Idk...from what I recall you can't use american discs in the UK...otherwise I would advice you to order it via ebay or something.

I'm not sure if it works that way with playstation discs though...all I know is that DVDs from america might not work in the UK.

It's a region thing - The Japanese had it first, then the Americans got it - they have similar region codes I think. Then they have to conver it all to PAL code what we have over here..hopeIamright.

NTSC vs. PAL.

the game has to be converted to PAL first before it gets released in the UK.

You could import a TV from America and play an imported American version of FFXII on it...

Otherwise, like everyone else mentioned, Europe has PAL TVs and Japan and America have NTSC TVs so there has to be a special conversion to play the game with PAL.

If you dont want to or cant do any of that the only thing you can do is per-order your copy and wait like the rest of us poor europeans

That's incorrect, the plugs are completely different in the UK.
The TV would fry and so would the PS2, along with the FFXII disc.
Just wait, it'll come out soon for the UK.
