What do you want to be? Do you want a job at all; will you live on the edge, travelling from place to place? Or will you be a stay-at-work business man, who has no time for his kids?

Or, for all you oldies out there:
What do you work as just now? Do you enjoy your job? What did you want to do as a child?

Talk about any of this, or any other appropriate feature that can present itself ^ :)

Im thinking of myself as a gaming company owner, my dream was to work in Square Enix but it's shattered now.

im totally not sure what my job will be, it might be video game designing or something on the computer
and ill treat my kids fairly and yell only if they never learn their lesson
i wont smoke
i wont be a boring dad
i will never be greedy or selfish
i wont waste my money on stuff i dont need

you didn't told us how you'll treat to your wife and you said you want kids, right?
how will you have your own kids without a wife?

well, i most probably go to japan (Learn japanese first of corse:P) and become a video game designer
it would be pretty awesome if it becomes true

Well I'm going studying film and video...but to be honest with you, I don't know what I want out of it just yet. I wanted to work with video cameras and such and I still do to some extent, but I'm still not sure about it.

I already work at a cinema and there are allways projection jobs going if I can't find anything better straight away after finishing University (hopefully), but I'm not worrying about it just yet, I'm going to study art and design at the art institute first and decide from there on.

All I know is is that I wan't to travel, whether it be with work (which would be a great bonus) or getting paid enough to actually pay for doing such a thing.

Well my university applications are just in...so if im successful at getting in (hopefully into 1 of the 3 glasgow courses i applied for) in about 4 years time ill either be a pro musician or ill be a software engineer. Anyways I hope things keep going right with my other half and i wish to live in glasgow now but go on lots of holidays...hopefully east and then to Africa...that would be cool...I want to get married and ill think about kids when i need to....there all my reasonable hopes for the future :)

My current aspect in life is to be a lawyer. Yes, a lawyer. If you know me well, I personally tend to argue a lot and use specific evidence to back my case. I am always fascinated in law and justice to be served, but to my sadness, I may not be able to get into law school with their current acceptance rate. If this dream of mine fails, I believe I will major in economics during my college years just to have a back category to fall in. Given that I a math whiz and all that, it would be a perfect backdrop.

And normality falls onto this thread. =D

Heh, I've been through so many stages of wanting to be something, or having a certain job.

Well, I would go into Design, but I kind of screwed myself over with that by not taking Art or Design at my GCSE level. I could do 3 years at college instead of two though to make up for that, but I realized that it wasn't what I -really- wanted to do.

Sport is my passion. I'm kind of tired with the prejudice that comes with that. A lot of people think that just because I like sport I'm some sort of jock, and act like a complete b****. Bullshit to that. Sport is what I enjoy and what I love, it's my passion. You know that kind of feeling you get whilst doing something you enjoy? I get that kind of adrenaline rush from sport. Although, I'm more theoratic than practical.

I want to be a Physiotherapist. It's a hard career path to take but I'm -so- determined to get there. I need to pass all my units at college with distinctions, no merits or passes are acceptable for me. It's a challenge, but I'm willing to do what it takes to reach my goal. [I'm a stubbornass, it's rare that I give up].

I want to experience a career and set back money every month, so I can save up and eventually travel the world. It's in my DNA to explore.

So cha, I've kind of got my life planned ahead. =]

Everyone confuses doctors with surgeons nowadays. You see doctors are those who analyze what is wrong with you and then send you to surgeons if it requires surgery. In turn, doctors don't really need to see blood that often. On top of which, there is a wide array of doctor professions including clinic hours. So, in turn, you CAN be a doctor without viewing blood. =D

Shoot for your dream.

Lmao, you blank out bitch, yet say "bullshit". Classic

Well, I'm faced with a dilemna.

I've always wanted to work with Animals. My main passion was striving towards becoming a Vet. However, I'm going off that idea. I like the thought of being a Vet, I'm just not sure I want to still be at Uni when I'm 28. Also, to get the necessary qualifications, I'd have to drop music next year - something I really don't want to do. I'm good at my sciences, but I hate all of them, ESPECIALLY Physics, which is essential for me, as well as Chemistry and Biology.

A Forensic Scientist, after watching CSI: Miami, was very appealing to me (Calleigh Duquense FTW :D). But then, it's not really something I've looked in to.

Working for the RSPCA, the SSPCA, or such like, seems very rewarding. Animals are everything to me and I'd love to save them, for a living. But then, I'm not sure I'd stay in the job very long - I'd be jailed for assaulting anyone who abused a wee fluffy cat.

My final, newest and strongest passion now is becoming a music teacher. I love music - even the listening side of it, where you have to name concepts, instruments, label chord-change diagrams, etc. The Drum Kit is my life and I'd *LOVE* tp upgrade my Keyboard skills into Piano skills. Being a music teacher --having music every day-- would be like an orgasm, a fantasy

So aye, I'm torn.

thanks! :) i'll go for it and try my best :D

awwww dave! *hugs* If your ultimate passion is music then i think you should do it in 5th year if thats what you want because you can always take the sciences in a college course later on, instead of taking something you hate ^_^ if thats what you want lol xx :D
