Assuming that it is your choice in the matter, of course. No silly songs, unless you're deadly serious. I listened to a new favourite song of mine and instantly thought it would be mine. A few people talked about theirs in the shoutbox and made the thread for everyone to share theirs.

I want I Got You by Leona Lewis to be mine. The lyrics "for better or worse, I got you" basically spell out the idea behind marriage. I don't think I'd change my mind anytime soon either since I'm a fan of Leona Lewis, anyway.

So what would you like to be your wedding song?

I would like to do with my wife to: "Nothing Compares To You" by Sinead O'Connor because it is a beautiful song and I would wish that me and my wife would spend the rest of our lifes together and for it to be our song.

At the moment I'm sort of leaning towards Jason Mraz - I'm Yours.

Steve and I both like that song and the lyrics are suitable for a wedding in my opinion.

I'm still not too sure about it though. No doubt close to the wedding date we'll put some more thought into it.

I want it to be something really memorable, different and not something that a lot of people use on their wedding days, whilst being something that we both really like at the same time.

EDIT: I just remembered that there is another song that we both really like.

Whyte Shadow - You are the one

Id be happy to get married lolz. Well for me it would either be Bliss by Muse of Songs of Love by Divine Comedy. Both are my favs and SOL has the Father Ted theme in it (2:25 in case you didnt know), and if I could get my future hubby to do his hair Matt Bellamy red, that would make me smile!!!!

Pale, pubescent beasts
Roam through the streets
And coffee-shops
Their prey gather in herds
Of stiff knee-length skirts
And white ankle-socks
But while they search for a mate
My type hibernate
In bedrooms above
Composing their songs of love

Young, uniform minds
In uniform lines
And uniform ties
Run 'round
With trousers on fire
And signs of desire
They cannot disguise
While I try to find words
As light as the birds
That circle above
To put in my songs of love

Fate doesn't hang on a wrong or right choice
Fortune depends on the tone of your voice
So sing while you have time
Let the sun shine down from above
And fill you with songs of love

Fate doesn't hang on a wrong or right choice
Fortune depends on the tone of your voice
So let's sing while we still can
While the sun hangs high up above
Wonderful songs of love
Beautiful songs of love

Everything about you is how I wanna be
Your freedom comes naturally
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

I've had the song Better Together by Jack Johnson in mind as a wedding song for some years now, so I think if I was going to change my mind I would have by now.
Of course I wouldn't be the only one with a choice in the matter though :lew:
