What would you do...

hey u dont have to do like that. i just remembered because i saw somewhere that someone wrote a suicide note because ffXIII lost its ps3 exclusivity. Of course id do the same than u nachlader

Or would you............................? Yeah I would just move on I mean come on people! its just a video game. Dont worry man, girls dont stop at XIII.

XD

I'd be relieved.

It should have ended with X. Or it could have ended with XII if they hadn't rushed the damn thing. But SE has really run the series into the ground and soiled its name, they need to let it rest.

i think that they should just see how far it goes SE is a great company so why not go with thje one project that made them what they are today an international phenomenon.

SE is a merger of two companies, Square and Enix. Final Fantasy made Square what they were, Dragon Quest made Enix what it was. Now both franchises suck for the most part, with spinoffs often being better games than the numbered installments. I don't want to see the FF name continue to be run into the ground.

I really wouldn't give a toss, I read more than I play vidya gamz and there's countless wonderful literature that beats terribly written dialogue and pseudo-romance any day.

Apart from your spelling, no.
It should read, " Do you have a problem with me?"

I for one commend you on your crusade against illiteracy.

I'd probably go throw myself off a bridge

No, really.

Nah...I could'nt give a shit.

Have time to actually concentrate on my job?

Repeatedly reply the previous title's that I enjoy?

I think it was good when it wa just square, which out of the modern games is VII-IX which were all great games. It would actually be nice to let it lie and maybe perhaps another company would make a decent and new rpg.

Well, let's see...If Square-Enix stopped making Final Fantasy games after XIII, my first reaction would probably be "Why the hell did SE axe the fourth best selling video-game franchise in the history of video-gaming?" I can't say it'd make me particularly mad at SE, though it would seriously make me lose faith in the collective intelligence of their higher-ups and their ability to make marketing decisions. I mean, when you're only being beaten out by The Sims, Pokemon, and Mario, one can only assume that you're going to last for quite a while. But I digress. Assuming this is strictly hypothetical, and we're not taking into consideration how utterly lacking in intelligence Square-Enix would have to be to drop the franchise after FFXIII, I guess I'd be pretty disappointed. Final Fantasy has pretty much always been there since I started gaming, so if it were suddenly not there, it'd be something of a shock to me.

However, I wouldn't be devastated or anything. I mean, really, there are plenty of other RPGs out there to keep my occupied. Final Fantasy is actually only my second favorite RPG series, my first being "Tales of..." Really, considering it's just one franchise out of the many, many series out there, I'd probably get over it fairly quickly. Besides, it's not like the existing 30-some Final Fantasy games and all related Final Fantasy material would get wiped off the face of the Earth. So, yeah, I'd just go back to playing other RPGs like Tales, Dragon Quest, Star Ocean, etc. I guess the death of Final Fantasy would be...unexpected. I still think the series is going incredibly strong given how long it's been going for, but hey, if Square-Enix wants to sign their own death warrant in the blood of their employees while creating a bonfire with the money in their bank account, then all power to them, I suppose.

I'd just like to point out that the only new, numbered Final Fantasies to be released after the merge were Final Fantasy XII and (this one is REALLY a stretch and I consider it more a spin off than an actual numbered title) Final Fantasy X-2. I honestly don't think Final Fantasy XII is bad enough to single-handedly drive a multi-billion dollar franchise into the ground. It's also a bit unfair of you to assume that one less-than-stellar game=a destroyed franchise, especially when that less-than-stellar game sold pretty well.
