What makes you remember what?

maybe i'm the only one who is this way but certain things (especially weather) makes me remember playing certain games then i gotta go play them! so what makes you remember playing a certain game?

for me the first snow storm of the year makes me remember playing metal gear solid because i got that game for christmas and then we were cancelled from school for like three weeks straight because of a huge storm!! and it was perfect because of the games snowy weather, so now when it snows i gotta go play the original mgs (not twin snakes)

when it's really hot out i want to go play The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of Time because i got that game in the summer.

Also when it's hot i gotta play ffvii i remember i got my first air conditioner in my room when i was playing through that and it was like heaven in there

When it's foggy and cloudy out i gotta play silent hill cause it feels like you're in the game

so maybe it's just me but let me know!!

Whenever I see a Jurassic Park movie, I remember playing Dino Crisis 2 because they have dinosaurs.
When I see a Resident Evil movie, I remember playing Resident Evil 3 which I lost.
And when I get bored from time to time, I remember playing FFIX because with that game I never got bored.

Music often reminds me of games I've played in the past. It could be the lyrics or just the sound of it.

I don't usually associate weather with games, so that doesn't trigger anything.

...actually, now that I think about it, a starry night sky reminded me of Oblivion a few nights ago. It looked like the sky in Oblivion (minus the additional moon). haha

Um, whenever I see or think of Advent Children, it makes me remember of FFVII. Pretty self-explanatory, eh?

Weather doesn't really trigger me thinking of any games either, but I guess that a gloomy or rainy weather does make me want to play my unfinished games, which is Kingdom Hearts 2, Dirge of Cerberus, The Legend of Heroes, Crisis Core, Xenosaga II, FFVI, and a few others.

Let's see...whenever I see a movie that includes gun, stealth, skills, etc., I think of Metal Gear Solid.

...And that's all I can really think of at the moment.

When ever I saw my inflatable chair at my mums it always reminded me of playing FFVII because I was glued to it until I completed it

Also as Mits says, if I watch advent Children or happen to here a song from FFVII I wanna crack it out again

Thta's about it really, I just usually get the urge to play something if I haven't played it in a while

I think if I ever see anyone in a film with spears I will be having flashbacks of Xaldin....but that's yet to hapen :stare:

Weather doesn't affect me just like the rest of the peeps.

Whenever I see guns,stealth,etc like Mitsuki-san, I also want to play either Metal Gear, half-life/cs or Halo.

Whenever I see a char from an FF game, I feel like playing that same FF game.

When I finally do get to play, I realize, "why am I doing this?" and then I turn on the computer and watch animes or write a book

The RPG reminds me of the early Final Fantasy titles if that counts?

Anyway, anything related to treasure hunting and being captured ALWAYS reminds of 'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune' (God I need to play that game again). Had such an amazing storyline.

But I wouldn't say that the weather triggers me to play a game, just when I play it. Like, if it's sunny the last thing I think about is playing games but if it's raining/snowing etc, then I'll probably just sit in all day and play one.
