I really would like a XIII-2, I don't care what the storyline is or whatever, I do on the other hand care that they bring back the same characters from XIII and maybe add a few more characters.

So how do you guys view the chances of this?
 
Blimey, its been out 5 minutes. Who knows they may make a game on Vanille and Fang before the events of FFXIII. To be honest, its too early to tell.

I'm not sure why everybody assumes that's going to happen. XIII-2 has more potential than X-2 ever had.
 
Personally, I hated FFX. However, I did like the ending. It was a break from the normal, happy ending. It left you with a bittersweet taste in your mouth and reminded you that not all stories have a happy ending.

I hate FFXIII. However, I loved the ending. While you did see most of it coming, you didn't see other certain details coming. WARNING: Do not put your mouse over the black text. SPOILER:

If FFXIII-2 comes out, a game with no potential in my opinion, and it does like FFX-2 did and completely ruin the ending, the characters, and what little plot the game had, then I wouldn't want to see it. However, if it focused on something else, then sure, why not?

Until then, it goes right up on there with FFX-2: The Quest for More Money.

At the end of the day, while the results of a FFXIII-2 is high, I don't think I want to see it happen. At least not for a while. And if/when it does happen, hopefully it doesn't ruin the ending like FFX-2 did with FFX. :elmo:
 
It will happen after all FF XIII was the fatstest selling game in the series :D I would say give Versus XIII time now and in another 3-4 YEARS FOR ff xiii-2. I know it will happen.
 
I'mma agree with Oerba here. Although I can't say that I liked the game, I know they're going to do the same thing with FFXIII that they did with FFX and make a sequal deal. I just hope they don't ruin the ending is all. After all, half of the ending was probably one of the only things that I liked about the game. O_O

I was hoping 1-2 years. It took like X-2 to be made two years after right? Not that long.

To be fair, XIII is only fast selling due to the multi-platform.

as much as I would like a XIII-2, I think it might ruin the game a bit. I loved X, it was my favorite out of the lot and while I liked X-2, it completely ruined at least Yuna's character for me. I would hate if that happened to anyone in this one.
There could be room for a slight repeat in things, with Fang and Vanille waking up and such. But I would have really liked to have seen something about what the characters got up to after the end of the game. So there's room there for it.
But it would defnitely need a good few years before it comes out, there's Versus and Agito to come still. I doubt they'd bring a new one out if they still have the rest of the main series to bring out.
