Zidane = Dracula (Don't ask, don't tell)

Steiner = Rusty (of course)

ViVi = Lucifer (soooo funny when Steiner yells, "We support you, Master Lucifer!"

Garnet = Poopy (also hilarious, when Zidane says, "All I can think about is Poopy")

Quina = MeatCuk (pronounced Meat Cook but there wasn't enough room for all the letters)

Freya = I left her Freya. This is just TOO cool a name, if you know your Nordic background.

Eiko = Shrimpy ('Nuff said)

Amarant = Redneck (That's THE FLAMING Redneck to you!)

Hahahaha. The flaming redneck...a redneck would never refer to himself as "flaming"...in the sense of homosexuality. That's too funny. XD
 
The first time around I left them all as they should be, second time Zidane was Brad (my name :P) and the other characters were just people I know. The third time, just to make things interesting, I called them all Binky, Dinky, Winky, Slinky, Pinky, Thinky, Tinky, and Drinky... I can't remember which was which though. But it amused me greatly.
 
Heh, I left them by their default names. Although when we had to change Garnet's name, I didn't wanna call her Dagger...so I called her by my name. =)
 
The only name I ever changed was Quina, and I changed it to Kinga...... I was like 8 so don't ask.
 
I once named Steiner Crunch, so he was Captain Crunch.

My friend named Amarant "Poo" so he would say, "They call me the flaming poo" Yes he's immature but so am I.
 
When I first played through I left them all alone. On my second play through I named them after friends, as did I with Final Fantasy VII. I guess it was a personal fad at the time. Everyone wanted to be Vivi...
 
I kept all of them the same except I named Zidane after myself. Later on when I got the namingway card though, I renamed Zidane to...Zidane.
 
Zidane = Zidane - (Just left him with the default).

Steiner = Tin Man - (The only thing that came to mind).

Vivi = Gizmo - (He reminds me of Gizmo from the He-Man Cartoons).

Garnet = Garnet - (Same here, Just left her as the default).

Quina = Pat - (Didn't know the sex).

Freya = Freya - (Again, left her as the default).

Eiko = Brat (Fit real well).

Amarant = A**h*** (That's THE FLAMING A**H*** to you! I named him this the second time around and LMFAO, it fit so well).

I don't remember what I called all of them, but here are the ones I do:

Vivi: Zeus

Eiko: Suri

Garnet: Tifa

Zidanne: Tibolt

I'll try and remember the rest...

Ohh i can just picture that, that would be the funniest thing to see on a game. XD
 
My characters are:
Zidane - Kuja (my friends know me by this)
Dagger - Liliane (My best friend, but also call dagger Sarah 'cause it's the real name of Dagger)
Vivi - Ornitier (one of my best friends)
Steiner - Griever (Ornitier's brother)
Freya - Freya
Quina - ?????????
Eiko - Patty (Patricia doesn't fill in)
Amarant - Cloud (might look stupid, but one of my best friends)
 
On one playthrough, I named everyone after characters from the other games, so I had:
Zidane - Locke
Vivi - May have stayed as Vivi, actually...
Garnet - Rinoa
Steiner - Cecil
Eiko - Relm
Freya - Celes
Quina - Umaro
Amarant - Red.


I tended to call Amarant varying shades of red (I've had Scarlet, Blood and Maroon, iirc). Dagger gets called Rinoa or Yuna a lot too.

lol...lucifer and poopy. Now thats original
 
i usually keep them the same now. but when i first got the game i was young and into american wrestling. So i ended up calling them names like Stone Cold and The Undertaker. haha

Zidane = Erick - (my name)

Vivi = Orco - (I named him after the character in HE-Man too. But it wasn't Gizmo, it was Orco.)

Steiner = Didn't change it

Freya = uummm..? don't remember

Dagger = Lorelai - (she looks like a Lorelai)

Quina = Gigas - (after Vincent's Giga dunk)

Eiko = didn't change it

Amarant = It's the best sounding name in FF history. How can I change it?
I should name all my characters Amarant.
