Ah odd title(very odd) It looks like a very good game. But what exactly is it? and what is the title called WET? The protagonist is a girl named Rubi. The game is Rated Mature it seems. I dont know if ill get this game or miss out on it. Its coming out on September 15. Looks ok I guess. Discuss
 
Hmm, with a name like WET it would have to be rated Mature, any idea what the plot or anything is?
 
Nope no plot so far :sad2: But it Looks like an acrobatic shooter by the looks of it. Still wanna know why its called WET though. Weird title is weird.

I'm not sure whether I'd like the game or not. I normally like stuff related to Bethesda, even the lackluster Pirates of the Caribbean game that was supposed to be Sea Dogs II. On the positive side, WET gives me a kind of Kill Bill modern western vibe. I'm normally not a huge fan of shooters, but it looks interesting.
 

I like the look of it, at first it looked more like GTA so I didn't really fancy getting it but then the gameplay footage looked more like Tomb Raider so I'll most likely getting it. Plus, Bethesda make brilliant games. :monster:
 
hahaha. regardless of the title, its so looks like my type of game. Ridiculous actions + shooting = fun XD! i love games where my character can free run (like prototype and Assassin Creed)
 
Not really the biggest fan of this game but like I said before it looks cool. I think ill have to get this game sometime when it comes out. Looks like a great shooter.
 
game play looks good, but the vid graphic looked a bit odd for me, like it isnt really third gen console standard, but maybe thats cuz the games ive been playing were really good in terms of visual.

btw, lili, from what is the character from your sig from?

I can see where you're coming from, but I always thought GTA gameplay videos were like that and looked amazing when it was finally released...though I didn't like the actual game >_> It could be down the video quality as well as most trailers and stuff never look as good unless you're viewing it on a HDTV as a HD Trailer or a HD monitor D;
 
Still, im willing to sacrifice eye candy for gameplay any day. just not to the extreme. as for gta, id have to say it is rather good. i splattered a guy with my car and his blood was sprayed all over the grill. Nice.
 
The character in my siggy is Noel Vermillion from Blazblue calamity Trigger Tispynaruto. Also can you guys see this game as a game that is worth getting? It looks like a nice shooter and all. Cutscenes will probably be really bloody/sexual(maybe) I think ill rent it at first though. Still a very odd title to me though. Maybe its A codename or something. I wonder if Rubi will have superhuman powers. She looks pretty cool tbh. Also Isn's Noel a Hottie? XD

I downloaded / played the PSN demo for this yesterday and it is pretty good I feel. Not sure on the story yet and I doubt that will be this games strong point, however the action feels smooth, easy to control, and quite a lot to do.

You can shoot while jumping, sliding along the floor, running up walls etc and you also have a sword.

What is also pretty cool is that you can shoot while sliding (upside down) down a ladder.

The action is excecuted quite well I think.


When she gets covered in blood (at least this is how it happens in the demo) she enters a weird mode (I think it is called Rubi mode) and everything turns into a red, white, and black cartoon as you fight and it looks rather interesting.

The last bit of the demo is that car scene seen in the trailer where you are shooting enemies while riding on the top of a car, then jumping off the car onto others etc. It's a pretty good sequence.

I reccomend you download the demo to try it at least as it feels promising. As for the whole game I'm not sure if I'll get it but I might do eventually when the price drops down perhaps. It was fun enough to buy I felt but I'll keep an eye / ear out.

Well, id get it. For me, i get any game that i think is worth getting. And if i regret it, ill sell it. i cant seem to play rented games. I feel rushed to finish it.

As for Noel, i say yea, especially in the sig you had before where it was white bg. Nice...
 
BUMP!

I had the 360 version and I enjoyed it at first, but then started to get annoyed with the controls. The OST, characters and style of the game are excellent, reminds me of Kill Bill. But after awhile I started getting angry at Ruby for doing a mad flip when I wanted to do a simple jump lol.
