I know people here have seen the movie BORAT. What did you think?

I personally thought it might be one of the funniest movies that I have ever seen.

Post some of your favorite lines. Mine is...

"What is upa vanilla face"

I've never seen it, I don't know the humor just didn't seem to appeal to me.

It seemed like people either loved the movie or they didn't like it. The movie certainly has its own form of humor. Probably around 10-15 people walked out of the sold out theater in the middle of the movie that I was at.

I'm sure that you would find some part of the movie to laugh about. ;)

Really some people walked out of the theatre? I guess it must be one of those movies then, lol!

I definitely will see it sometime though, just to see what everyone is talking about!

Not worth it. By the time you do see it, people will have already killed the jokes. =D

Anyways, this movie was not all that good. Sure, it had its moments, but that was it. The rest was just corny and repetitive. It's just a giant spoof on American Life. Hell, this movie scarred me for life with the fat man in the middle of it. =/

There was rolls upon rolls....

Hahaha! Thanks for the warning! Ewww....I wasn't that excited about seeing it anyways, I think I'll pass now! lol
 
Funniest movie of all time, but it is one of those watch-it-once type things, my favourite line was the shapeshifting one lol and yes the hotel scene scared me for life, *shudders violently*
 
He just won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Comedy, and he is actually quite an intellectual person being an Oxford Graduate. I thought it was a very funny movie(most parts). But alot of the parts were also very stupid. I didn't find it funny at all how he ran up to random people in NYcity screaming *I'm Borat*. NY is the last place in the U.S. where people are going to put up with that shit, I read that someone actually punched him in the face during that scene, but they didn't put it in the movie obviously. The only movie I really liked "Borat" in was The Ballad of Ricky Bobby as the French driver, which is actually the only other movie I've seen him in. But the Ali G show is actually extremely funny.

i luved that move!^_^ i like the part where hes in the jew's house and some bugs come and there like "OMG the jews have trandsformed" and they gave it money.

I thought he also had the best speech at the Golden Globes. I was laughing through the whole thing.
 
I've never seen ein Borat. People say that he can bust a lung or two.
