We have entered an endless recursion of time

So a few days ago, I have started watching the anime series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Today, I have reached Season 2, and I was really surprised...

Episode #2 was a normal episode.
Episode #3 was episode #3, but halfway through the episode, the main party realizes that they are stuck in an infinite time loop.
Episode #4 was exactly episode #3.
I am currently watching episode #5, and things don't seem to be improving...


Upon googling "endless recursion of time", it has come to my attention that there are NINE EPISODES where this happens


Seriously....
What the heck
Should I skip the episodes or go through everything? I dunno, I might miss some stuff since not -everything- was the same...


And after I googled "endless recursion of time", I found out that there are NINE EPISODES of this o.o


Seriously now, what the heck? I don't know if I should watch the episodes or skip them... I might miss some things...

I've not seen it, but I'm assuming there is a reason they decided to put a time loop in, and that perhaps if you don't watch the episodes then you might miss something crucial.

How close to the same are they? Coz that sounds really crazy if they seem like the same episode. The differences must be subtle and you'd need to keep an eye out for clues for later episodes I'm guessing.

If it's driving you insane I suggest reading episode summaries on the internet and skipping the episodes.
