Maybe add a hat sideways and some bling xD

I like the shading on your work. It makes it stand out so much better. From all the art classes i took i never got the concept of the shading. Second, you'll see more from me once next semester starts. I'll have to turn a lot of artwork for my AP Studio Art portfolio, so look forward to then.

....AP art. *Shudders violently* You're brave for taking it. That class raped me towards the very end. Then again, I had a pretty shitty teacher. So...what's your concentration?

Ahh, that's a really interesting one. You'll be able to do lots of cool stuff XD

...Pastels....*trauma* I'm so terrible at pastels. ...Well, I've done some okay stuff in chalk pastels, but the minute I ventured into oil pastels, there was chaos and bloodshed. Anyway, my concentration was mental illness. I thought I could have fun doing surrealist type stuff that way. The two other people in my class did religion and self portraits as their concentrations.

Best of luck to you with the concentration! Post the pictures/slides up here when you're done!! :D ...And don't leave it all to the last minute like I did and stay up all night the last few nights frantically trying to finish everything.
 
*hmmm nice drawings my friend :) but some are hard to see,light marks and unparallel lines have to be improved and the faces need work! :)

*keep practicing and youll master the art :)

Oooh Warbs! Nicely done, I LOVE your style there, the hair and facial features are really good. I love the skethy look to drawings, it just adds so much character, and you still have all the detail and the shading, great stuff
 
This sketch is absolutely amazing! I'm in awe. I love the transitioning of the shades and how the lines seem to flow well together. The details on her face is nailed on, but seeing as this is a sketch, of course it's not complete yet so I'd love to see the final product. You have a great talent and I can see how careful you are with your work - it really shows.
 
Thanks for the comments (^^), the time it took me to get to the last version was about 5 hours using trial and error since I don't really have a picture of her. Just from memory. But I think it worked out somewhat nice in the end.

And like I said in the shoutbox, this was done in Photoshop. :wacky:
I love my tablet. <3
