lol Yea, Wall-E is out. It was in theaters in like June. I'm not sure if it's to DVD yet. I wanted to go see it when it was released but no one would go with me. Guess that's understandable... but meh...

Wall-E came out on DVD here in the UK last week, so I imagine it'll be coming out all over the world around now or in the next month or two.

Beautiful, beautiful movie. Definitely my favourite movie from Pixar. I've seen it twice since I got the DVD and 4 times in total 
I don't think Wall-E fell flat of expectations. On the contrary, it greatly exceeded mine. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it would be about a cute little robot going through an adventure through space (akin to Finding Nemo). I never expected the movie to handle such important themes in such a child-friendly, yet subtley effective way. The use of live action footage was particularly effective, imo.
Not to mention the romance between Wall-E and Eve was so heartfelt. You could really feel the chemistry and feeling between the two, despite them being animated robots. BY FAR, I prefer watching Wall-E to watching some other serious romance movies released as of late (*coughtwilightcough*)

I actually looovveed watching Wall-E. My sister has it on DVD and I decided to watch it for the first time. It was really funny and sad. I loved how emotional a cartoon movie was.
