you were all really really really good. (and brave) but in the end i had to vote for...numbers 1 3 and 5. Pure heart by number 5 in particular was excellent :D and im rather partial to that song :P
 
Ah man, how come I didn't know about this? I guess there can't be any late entrants, but you all sound good. My vote goes to number 2 for making me laugh (doing it on youtube, lol).

Why does that make you laugh? I think it was brave putting it on youtube like that. it seems to me that #2 isn't afraid of what the rest of the world thinks.

I guess maybe the contestant didn't have a working mic. for the entry.

Anyway, didn't know much about this either since I hardly frequent it. I voted though! If you're reading this, and you have not voted, you should do so.

after listening to all the songs provided, with much deliberation I came to a decision, before I say what that is I would like to say good work to all those who entered.

I guess I will be the Simon for this one.
With the exception of 5 all the contestants were decent at best. you were all just trying to hard and the songs sounded forced. sorry if I sound like a jerk, but I am very critical.
 
This is just a test run basically, cooky. At first I had planned on making this THE FFFIdol contest, but there were only five entrants, including myself just to boost the number of contestants. I just want to see how many people would participate, vote...be involved. Etc. =]

If you really want a round two, then I can start it up. XD
 
Well this is just my tester version of the competition.

FFF Idol won't start for a few more months. I'll probably get the show started up in the fall. First I have to organize applications, collect submissions, and get people ready for auditions.

I'm thinking perhaps a solid month is good enough to collect a good share of applications. I only collected five submissions...four not including myself in this trial competition; and the submission time was only a few weeks.
 
Awcht, well. If announcements aren't working, I suggest a mass-pm/email to all active members :]

Regardless, please let us know when you start collecting materials, and tell us what we need to provide :P I'm well up for it :cool:
 
Will do. I have a few small forum thingies to attend to, specifically in the roleplay section. Afterwards I can start coming up with application ideas. Feel free to submit ideas as well. ^__^
 
Well, if it isn't too popular currently, then maybe it would be better to just accept all applicants, say, up to 15, or something. Pick a few songs, two or three, for each applicant to sing. Since it's FFF, obviously, try to stick ot Final Fantasy songs. Then just continue with the voting, I suppose.

I realise now, after typing this suggestion, it's exactly as it works now.
 
Well I will certainly make an update and let you all know when I'm ready to start taking auditions and applications. Or whatever I decide to start the competition with. I think applications will do just fine to introduce each participant. ^__^
