Did anyone else find this place extremly annoying? 100 levels of pure nothing. lol. I hated this place. I also never finished it. Which is probably why I didn't get 100%.

Yourselves? Did you find this board to be hard? Your thoughts.

Well, before i actually sold this lame excuse for a FF (it was a decent game, but not FF).....i completed it a couple of times, and i think i managed to get to the fight with Yunalesca's ghost thingy, but i couldn't nail her...so i dunno whats at them bottom of via infinito...

I don't know what's at the bottom myself, actually. I got to a certain point and quit because I could not get passed it.

i myself took no time to train my characters, or obtain powerful dresspheres so fighting the tough monsters in this dungeon was completely out of the question. i only played this game in hopes that it would give me some answers like why tidus disappeared, and whether or not he was going to come back. it did a poor job in delivering that info as well.

back to the topic, i hardly took a step into this dungeon before deeming it unworthy of my time.

It was actually like the Pharos from FFXII. 100 freking levels of crap!

The bosses were kinda hard though.

Ehh managed to get to the 100th lvl of this thing but never finish off the final boss. They never gave any anwsers as to Tidus coming back or not, it mainly if any revolved around Paine as some of the enemies like two dropped the crimison spheres. This optional dugeon was a pain and not worth it that much, only thing it offered was percentage completion.

Took you 2 weeks to beat him? O_O!! Oh My Gawd.

Via Infinito, I hear, does not give percent completion. Is this true?

damn why the hell did they make a boss with that much HP? and idk about you but after the first day or two i might have just given up. but 2 weeks? thats some goddamn perserverance.

Indeed.

I sure as hell would've gave up. Actually, I gave up on the last boss...if it wasn't the last one, It sure as hell was really close. =)!

Catnip will make things a lot easier down there, but it would be best to avoid the likes of Elder Drake and Mega Tonberry even with that accessory. Actually, every random encounter in the later stages are bosses, so you'll have your work cut out for you, fighting them will be left at your own discretion. Also, consider it your 'lucky' day should you land in a cloister full of Mega Tonberries blocking the exits.;)

If you're going to fight the most powerful boss in the game (Trema) with the
Catnip + Trigger Happy
combination, DO NOT save your game at the 100th level, but rather do it the cloister before, so that you have the necessary preparation to bring your Gunner's HP down to critical for the
Catnip
effect to function. Also, his HP is 999,999, so it'll only take several rounds of Trigger Happys to nail his a** down. The way I did it, I had Yuna and Rikku concentrate on healing with their Mascot dressspheres, it was down to Paine as the Gunner to deliver the coup de grace on Trema. Took 3 tries, but I managed to beat him and got the percentage points required to obtain my 100%; incidentally, it was also my first playthrough of the game. What made it slightly challenging, I guess, was the fact that you had to go into the battle battered and bruised after fighting another tough boss called Paragon; but the Iron Duke accessory was well worth the trouble, increasing the wearer's stats immensely.

Hrmm...I have sold the game. lol. I kinda wish I had it for when I get bored and stuff. =(.

Oh well, I tried that damn catnip trick with Gunner. The monsters are fast as hell.

I liked the via infinto it was a good challenge :) not many comments from me on it because I forget half of the game as i only played it once

I found Via Infinito irksome at times to say the least.

I can't remember exactly how far I managed but I know I was severely under-levelled.

Lol, this is actually the worst part of the game, in my opinion…

It wouldn’t have been so bad if the battles weren’t that long. If I remember correctly, it had some of the world’s toughest fiends down there equaling long and drawn out battles. Anyway, when I finished the first 20 levels in what seemed like forever, I sat back and said… Shit! I have to do another 80 of these…?

Sadly, I did finish it… two years later, had to for the 100% completion.

Mhm...it had alot of boss fiends down there that you had to battle. It was pretty time consuming. It was worth it...in the end? xD.

Lol… Exactly, at the rate of about 5-6 levels an hour maybe more if you’re lucky, one does wonder. If it didn’t count toward a percentage completion, I’d a said hell no!
