Anyone remember this game? Just wanted to know what you guys thought about the game.

I don't really know if I like it or not, even to this day. I guess in a way, it was special to me because it took me months to beat the game and when I finally finished the game, it was more of a relief for me.

The storyline was alright. It was certainly unique, I'll give you that. I even like the battle-system. But for some reason, I felt that there was something missing.

I don't know what it is...maybe the fact that the characters you recruit and train become such a strong character...only to have him or her turned in to the other side of the world so that you can have a good report on the wars and such. And then you have to start over and train a new character again. I suppose it got so repetitive for me that I started to get bored a little.

But overall, it's still one of those games that I find memorable for reasons unknown. Lol.

I haven't played the second one yet. Should I get it?

I havent yet played any of the ones for the playstation 1 or 2 but i have palyed the one for the psp. i also thought that it was good but lacking in some things. when i finally finished it iwas like yeah finally, it was more like a relief than anything else. dont get me wrong it was fun game to play. it was worth it for me on the psp because i like chalenging games like that.

You played hardmode and got the A-ending? You should...

Or maybe I'm just saying that because this is one of my favorite games ever. I enjoyed pretty much everything and I like the whole Norse mythology theme (even if they did screw up some parts).

I'd buy Valkyrie Profile 2, it's a good game and I loved the first game, but you should ask yourself if you really want to play another Valkyrie Profile game.

Hmm, I was hoping maybe that it'd be a bit different from the first game. But I don't know, I guess even if I do get the second one, it'd be later in the future or maybe if I'm extremely bored and have ran out of games to play. I still wanna get it though, no question about that.

It's different. Kinda. Einherjar are less important, they dumped that whole 'watch people die, then go to a random dungeon' thing.
