Vagrant Story heads to Japanese Playstation Store

Vagrant Story can now be downloaded on the Japanese Playstation Store of the PSP and Playstation 3.

The classic RPG is one of the few prestigious titles to receive a perfect score of 40/40 by popular Japanese magazine, Famitsu. There is no current news on whether the title will be released on the NA and EU PSN but if sales are to go by anything (Final Fantasy VII selling 100,000 copies in just under 2 weeks on PSN, making it the fastest selling PSOneClassics) then there's a high hope that Vagrant Story, along with Final Fantasy Tactics (which is also heading to PSN) to be on the NA and the EU stores by the end of the year.

They got XenoGears at the PSN store and now VAGRANT STORY?!

Ugh, I really want to play those two games T.T

Omg I want to play Xenogears and I would love to play Vagrant story also. Whats Vagrant story about again? Aolso Xenogears was so awesome. I like Xenosaga also though.

Ah is Vagrant Story the one which is set in Ivalice? I hope it becomes available over here, I've been wanting to give it a try and the 40/40 thing makes me all the more curious.

Vagrant Story is pretty choice... Can PSP's wirelessly conduct transactions for this kind of stuff? I'm sure as hell not gonna buy a PS3 after getting my PSP just so I can get this. If I have to, I'll just rom/emu it.

Yeah if you have the latest update, the psp can download stuff straight from the store. Might take a while, though, since it's a pretty good sized file you're downloading.

Vagrant Story sounds like it would be a really fun game. I bought it 2 months ago and still haven't played it. I won't download it though, won't make any sence, but I am going to play it soon, now.

Nice. I was planning to play the game on the PC with an emulator, but maybe I'll download it to the PS3 if it'll become available.
It is set in Ivalice, so I am sure I will like it.
As well as the 40/40, because no matter what others say: FFXIII is my favorite FF/Game.

As for FFT, I don't care. I played it and didn't like it much ,even less than FFVII.

I would buy that so fast if it comes out over here! I never played it on PS, but I'd like to give it a shot, now. I didn't even know it was a 40/40.
