Up

I loved the movie Up and two parts really made me cry. Once during the first 15 minutes, and then in the middle when Carl opens the adventure book...

The themes this movie focused on were very interesting for a kids movie. (Though I think UP is more for adults.) Love, miscarriage, infertility, death, letting go. I acutally read an article about this movie that it can give hope to couples that are infertile. Carl may not have been able to be a father to his own child, but he could be a father to another.

And Doug was amazing :)

I loved Up too and it was an amazing film. The first ten minutes were the most emotional scenes in a film I'd ever seen. Doug was my favourite, especially when he goes: "Squirrel!", it was an amazing film.

One of my favorite Pixar movies. The beginning never fails to make me turn into a sniveling, crying, child. It's lighthearted atmosphere masks a sorrowful plot. Moving from sad to happy scenes very seamlessly.
I have not yet met anyone who has not enjoyed UP. It's a classic that should be enjoyed by every movie watcher whether you enjoy animated films or not. This movie might just make you fall in love with Pixar.

Up was definitely a great movie. The beginning is all nice, and then sad. The old dude (can't think of his name) was my favorite character. This movie proves that you're never too old to have fun, and that even though somebody you love is no longer alive, you can keep them in your heart and carry on with your life.
