Okay, so i used a gameshark and got all the ultimate weapons for everyone like Zidane's Ultima Weapon (very original) and Steiner's Excalibur 2.... but does anybody know how you actually get them? When i go for my completion play through im not going to cheat any ultimate weapons anc such would be very helpful.

To get Steiners, you need to get to memoria in under 12 hours - I cant say Ive ever tried. I can't say Il ever even BOTHER to try ¬_¬

Zidanes, I can't remember...I THINK its the one you find with the chocobo. where the shimmering islands used to be, you need to 'dig' right it he centre of the water, and you should get it.....

Obv you need to have played hot and cold for this and got the required chocobo to go dunking in the sea
 
Noooo...... i hate hot n' cold... no matter how many times i got the right spot... the stupid thing always said Kweh. Nothing more, Not KWEHHHH
 
To get Zidanes Ultima Weapon you have to dive at the spot where the entrance to the place Kuja goes into a trance is.

As previously mentioned, Ultima Weapon is located in the middle of the water where the Shimmering Island used to be, you have to ride a Chocobo into the water and use a Dead Pepper. This also implies that you have a Gold Chocobo, i.e. that you found ALL of the Chocograph treasures. :wacky:

Excalibur II is also nearly impossible, as stated before, you have to complete a substantial portion of the game with 12 hours.

In the process of finding all the Chocograph treasures, you'll uncover a couple of the weapons in question, including Ragnarok and Whale Whisker (I think). Beyond that...I think the rest of them are just lying about in chests near the end of the game. So...keep your eyes peeled, I guess. :monster:
 
it is where the shimmering islands are BUT its not hot and cold that u obtain it with, use a hot pepper or red pepper or whatever it is in where the island used to be and ull get it
 
Yeah, but you have to do hot and cold to get the dark blue chocobo, which you have to have in order to get there.
 
There is an easy glitch you can use to get the 12 Hour thing. Just before you reach the area where it counts, leave your PS on until the clock get to 99:99 and then just carry on because the clock will reset to 00:00
 
on my game it stayed at 99:99:99 and didnt start over though :(

That glitch won't always work, that's why it's a glitch. Sometimes it'll be there, and sometimes it won't.

As for everybody's ultimate weapons, let's see if I remember correctly....

Zidane - After the shimmering islands are no more, go to the spot where they use to be using your ocean (blue,or gold will do) chocobo, and use a dead pepper in the middle of the Islands. You should get the ultima weapon. He also has a weapon called the Tower in Memoria, but ultima weapon is the better weapon.

Steiner - Get to the entrance to memoria within 11 hours of gameplay and you'll have Excalibur 2. His other weapon, the Ragnarok, that teaches his ultimate ability shock can be found on a small island after you aquire the gold chocobo.

Freya - On the forgotton continent you'll find a crack in the mountains on the west side (if I remember correctly) of the island. Use a dead pepper on it with a mountain chocobo, and you'll get the Whale Whisker.

Quina - Catch 99 frogs in the frog catching mini game and you'll get to fight Quale. Defeat him and he'll give Quina the Bistro Fork.

Amarant - In Memoria right before you go up the stairs into the giant eyeball, look at the base of the stairs to find Amarant's ultimate weapon, the Relic Claw or Ancient claw or something like that.

Vivi, Eiko, Dagger - All theyre ultimate weapons are spread out in Memoria. I cant remember where each of them is specificlly, but they're not too hard to find.

To get Excalibur you need to buy the rare items in trenos auction house. Doga's Artifact then needs to be sold to a guy in the synthises shop. Une's mirrior goes to a noble man outside Cafe Carta. Griffens Heart and Rat tail go to an anventurer outside Cafe Carta. When you do that the item "magical fingertip" will appear on sell in the auction house. Must be on disk 4. Give that item to a man in Daguerreo and bam the sword is yours.

This guy named rlouisw made it through the whole game and got both Ultimate Weapons in less than 12 hours. He even made some side videos for stuff like the Chocobo Air Garden, Ozma, having all 8 characters beat the Behemoth in a 1v1 battle, the list goes on.
