Ultima + Omega

I'm kinda confused with the whole "international" thing. i was under the impression the PAL version was the edited version of the US/JP version, which is the original? (International being the JP and US version)

It could be that Yanks and Nippons call the Pal version the international version coz theyre jealous of it? that we got dark aeons and they didnt ? IDK

It's not like we got the Original version first and it didnt have Dark Aeons ,because I have an original copy of FFX of the pal release and it has Dark Aeons in it so I really have no idea? I could ring up S-E to find out?

The US/original JP version has no Dark Aeons, and no Penance. The PAL version and the JP International version do. With FFX, the PAL version of it IS basically the international version, as far as gameplay goes. As I understand it, PAL regions got the game about five or six months after the US/North America regions. By the time it was released in Europe, Australia, and other PAL regions, the international version was already out too. So rather than giving PAL regions the same version the US got, they repackaged the international version as plain old "Final Fantasy X" and that's what the PAL regions got.

I have the version with the Dark Aeons in it aswell, but i heard that there's some other uber-hard boss called Nemesis instead of Penance lol.

They should just stick to one release and be done with it!

Nemesis isn't as hard as the Dark Aeons or Penance. You unlock Nemesis in the Monster Arena. To unlock him, you need to capture 10 of each fiend found in Spira and defeat all other Original Species monsters at least once. If you have any Monster Arena knowledge at all, that should make sense to you. :wacky: I'm hoping you do, since I don't want to explain any more.

Yeah, capture one of every monster in an area to unlock an "original monster" right?

I think i got the platinum version, i'm not sure i'll check it out later, when i get back from listening to teachers droning on :bored:

Nah, one of every monster in an area is the Area Conquest monsters, I think.

The conditions for Original Species monsters are, as copy and pasted from Wiki because I'm lazy:

* Earth Eater - Breed at least 2 monsters in Area Conquest.
* Greater Sphere - Breed at least 2 monsters in Species Conquest.
* Catastrophe - Breed at least 6 monsters in Area Conquest.
* Th'uban - Breed at least 6 monsters in Species Conquest.
* Neslug - Capture at least 1 of each fiend in all areas throughout Spira.
* Ultima Buster - Capture 5 of each fiend roaming throughout Spira.
* Shinryu - Capture at least 2 of each underwater fiend in the Mt Gagazet cavern.
* Nemesis - Capture all 10 of each fiend found in Spira and defeat all other Original Species monsters at least once.

And as for whether you have the Platinum version... it doesn't matter. It's the same game, just in a different packaging. There's no changes at all.
