Uh I have an problem

I ignored in the SB one of the Mods before they were a mod, and they are still ignored, and I can't unignore them. The option not there and I tried typing it but I get (Error: This user is protected from being Ignored / Silenced / Banned.). But I never see their shouts so....


Does this mean I don't have to listen to them?

Anyhow i can see what it is it a database problem she/he must have a seperate profile for when she was a mod compared to a normal member... soo as she/he is not a mod anymore.. profile removed... that why ur getting a error cuz it cant find the profile

Sorry but its a classic database fail and i done a diploma in IT .. soo u might need the tech guys on the matter..n just saying

I don't think that's it, seeing as with vB, any instance where they were one name would change to their new name (except in quoted posts). It's probably a screw up due to not being allowed to ignore staff members. An admin could probably fix it somewhere in that jumbled ACP

Don't need a tech on this, and it has nothing to do with the database being messed up either. It's just a user permission. Just like ASP.NET permission if one person exists as a Mod/Super user and they were previously a member the user function to call the userid sees it as a Mod. AKA, unignoring just like ignoring is probably disallowed if a member is higher status (staff member).
