Toriyama: “I’m really interested to see a more complete form of Final Fantasy VII”

We're sick of the game. We played it back in 97, and it was average. Not great, not the greatest gaming experience of all time (like most fantards seem to think) just average. We're sick of it because of the "80%" of the fans that just won't let it go.

And we're pretty sure we're not the only ones that think the fantards completely made that game into something it's not. :mokken:

Clearly we would never read a novel about the plot/story of FFVII when the plot/story is average at best. That would be a waste of time, money, and effort.
 
No, you're not the only ones. You guys think it's average. Fanboys think it's greater than bread. It's an annoying cliche, but as always the truth is somewhere in between.
 
Considering that most of this is an opinion, people need to stop arguing about it like it's fact. I personally loved FFVII. Was it the best game of all time? No. It wasn't even the best game of the series if you asked me. But if someone wants to think it's the best game of all time, who's to stop them? Unless they're annoying about it, there's really nothing to be annoyed about.

As for the annoying ones, they should be burnt to a crisp.
 
I like 7 as well, but some fans are just really obsessed with it its crazy. Honestly they should stop milking it, give other projects some love. Like 6, even though i never played it i would love to see a remake of that.


The hype is really not necessary, i love 7 to death but seriously leave it be already.
 
if a VII remake is ever realized, i'll end up buying it. I do hope Toriyama is only expressing interest and not resolve though. There are other projects to complete before they can even toy with a remake. I'd rather they keep things fresh with new stories.
 
I know if a FFVII remake was made, I'd buy it. I enjoyed FFVII, I'm enjoying the connected spin-offs, so seeing a updated game including all the new material would please me. And even if it was stictly a graphic updated with corrected script (Oh Aerith, this guy is sick, dear xD) I'd check it out.

But I'm not exactly squirming for it either. I can wait for it whenever it comes around. But a part of me wouldn't be surprised if SE worked on the game just an itty little bit at a time and whip it out when they needed some money :hmmm:

And as I often said, a FFVII remake before FFV and FFVI will peeve me quite a bit >_>
