Who else, aside of me of course, was bothered by the fact that there are too many Shiva related espers?

No matter how many times I saw those espers, I always thought that either the creators are big Shiva-fans ,which I can understand as I am one too, or they just ran out of ideas...which is sad.

For example, couldn't they add Kraken as a Rank III and put Shiva to Rank II or something? I don't remember seeing Kraken as an esper at all! though maybe I just missed him.
As for Rank I, maybe they could put Medusa or something.
I just don't see a reason to make up Shiva related espers. Really.

OMG Kraken as Rank III is sad, that's from FF3 and it's a villain, no offence and all. And yes, couldn't they just make new espers or something instead of creating twisted versions of original espers? It's very wrong IMO.

What about Tiamat being a Rank III esper? He is as villain as Kraken.
Maybe even more, because I don't remember Kraken in FFVIII, but Tiamat surely was there.

In FFI they both part of the "four fiends". So I always find the similar.
I actually forgot there is Kraken in FFIII :P
There is one in FFIX though, and Tiamat is there as well (I think).

They love to appear together, so I can't understand why they got rid of the poor Kraken...

I mean that Kraken just appeared in only one of those games, or so I remember, but Tiamat is a regular and a major to me, but I didn't play FF1 so I don't know what you mean, but hey. :monster:
