Multiple Platforms Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Anyone played this game yet?

I bought it a few days ago for the XBox 360 and so far so good...up until I decided I wanted to get the achievement for acquiring all the artifacts and relics in Peru. I had finished that level without getting all the artifacts and relics, so I deleted the save file and restarted the game so I can get ALL the artifacts/relics this time around. (Because I'm turning into an achievement whore).

The problem is that when I went to the same spot to get the artifacts I had already acquired in the previous save file, they are no longer there. >.> I figured the system somehow recognized that I've already gotten it even though I had already deleted the save file on my first playthrough, so does this mean that when I finish the first level, it's a guarantee that I'll get all the artifacts from the previous save file and the current save file?

Awww this game I love. But I want Underworld already arrr. Ok yeah Mits IVe played this game and boy is it awesome. Ummm Im sure you will love it. Oh acheivement whore lol dont worry I am one too lol. Ok but why did you not get the artifacts? There easy to find ye know. Oh if You love Tomb Raider get Legend and Underworld. Ummm thats weird they were there for me.... Good luck passing this game and dont get lost in it. Too many puzzles might make your head spin lol.

i didnt actually play because i was playing other games at the time tht caught my eye but i never got round to play it
and for some reason i didnt like unerworld that much eitherr i think tomb raider has lost its touch
well for me anyway

Bit of a late reply, Mits.

I had this issue when I was playing through Croft Manor, when a glitch prevented me from obtaining the music box. I acquired all of the 8 artefacts and, despite restarting the Manor level, I kept all of my artefacts - it was good to save time but annoying to rob me of the adventure, again. xD

All I can recommend is checking your level stats - they should tell you if you have 3/3 artefacts, or whatever, for that level.
