today i beat everything there was to beat in FF7 including emerald and ruby. was at level 80 and wanted to get cloud to level 99, anyways i had just beat ruby and i got the golden chocobo, i wanted to go ahead and get the quadra magic materia so i went there with my choc, i hop off it and bam cloud glitches into the sea, i walked around it for a little bit but then he couldnt move anymore and i was stuck, so i thought to myself maybe if i save my game and turn it back on he will be on land. nope unfortunatly he was still in the sea, i was so angry but then i thought, "well i pretty much concured the game soo i guess i cant be to mad." anyways i just wnated to share my ff7 nightmare with you all

I know this feeling though, my ps2 used to have a tendancy to turn off at random times due to a faulty ac adapter. Playing FFX once i went from besaid to luca without saving them bam off the power went...gutted. Sounds worse for you though because you cant actually keep playing the save, seein as clouds stuck in the ocean.

Shouldnt be too hard to get over, you did everything you could do in the game other than leveling cloud up..so I consider it a job well done and no need to cry over spilled milk...do you have another save relatively close to where you were?

Wow, that sucks man. Fortunatly I've never had that happen. Yeah you pretty much conquered the game, I guess that file was too badass for the game so it glitched it lol.

no, i didnt have another save, i told my self if i beat ruby to save immediately after the fight, but i didnt and went straight to kalm to claim my bird. i never got a golden one because i never wanted to spend 10 hours breading, then i was having fun walking on the ocean and then got owned by the game. i should of saved!!!!!

On my last playthough I couldn't be arsed getting a gold chocobo.

i beat emerald before i beat ruby, when you beat emerald you get all mastered summons soo thats pretty much how i beat ruby, using hades and KOTR. WAIT, I hope this post isnt to short. lol what is this mod talking about i didnt post twice in a row i answered two questions in one post, i mean come on it isnt that serious, why delete my post.

I can safely say, I'd have a PS2 shaped hole in my window now, you should have saved the file on a seperate file, just to be on the safe side. Hindsights a bitch, innit.

The closest thing like that that has happened to me is when Id done summat on FFX-2 I think it was, calibrating those gay towers, and I losdt about 2 hours work becasue the stupid electric ran out
