Tinctures and last elixirs

If you do enough fort condor battles you'll soon enough get a reward called a tincture. Also on mt. gaea after fighting a bunch of Icicles you get to a chest with an item called last elixir.

My question is this, if you don't have any ethers and get the tincture will it show up in the menu as named or will it still be called ethers? also the same with last elixir, will megalixirs be called last elixirs in the menu?

Nope, 'Last Elixir' is Megalixir no matter what. Dodgy translating is all it ever was.


I never knew about a Tincture being in FFVII! .....

That "Last Elixir" thing got to me so much e.e;;
I had no idea what it was and I think one time I spent like 15 minutes trying to find it in my Inventory xD.

The same happened to me but then i realized maybe its just the las elixir you find in the game. Tincture? Dindt get any, are they ethers?
