Those Pesky Ailments

I don't think I ever got hit with Disease in XII. What did that actually do? :hmmm:

The one in XII that pissed me off was Reverse, particularly when you're fighting Ultima. She'd hit you with Reverse and then cast a cure spell on you. :ffs:

It also became a pain since I had to turn off my healing gambits. -__-
Disease makes it so that you are always at max HP. Say that Cloud has 1000/1000 HP with Disease. If, say, a Wolf comes along and takes out 100 HP, his HP will become 900/900, therefore making healing spells obsolete. It can leave a character with 1/1 HP if you have Sap on as well. Does that clear things up?

Oh gawd, that sounds annoying. :8F:

Now that I think about it, I think I did get hit with that one once. Sap was also an annoying one, now that you mention it. I got hit with that one a lot. >_>

Confuse has to be my most hated one. I could care less about things like Poison or Echo because I can cure Poison with Antidotes and I never use that much magic to begin with, but when my characters start bashing each other it just gets really annoying.

I hated confuse in all games but and i especially hated zombie and confuse in 6 blind was also a bad one i hated having to waste a turn to cure it and if you didn't it would take the battle like 3 times longer .................I love beserk though it's awesome especially in 12

I'm going to have to hop on board with what a lot of people have been saying and agree that Confuse is the most annoying status ailment. Between losing control over a character and having a good chance that they'll attack another one of my party members, it's a huge annoyance.

Slow is pretty frustrating, too. It's like "Okay, I can still do what I need to do, but before I can do it I have to wait for this guy to take three turns." It makes me wish the game had eyes so that I could rip them out.
