Things Final Fantasy could improve on?

XII had an amazing battle system, it finally got rid of the random battles that annoyed everyone, if they can some how mix the XII system with X one then that would be great.
 
I know it can be time consuming, but Id like to see more FMVs and cut scenes. We have the technology now for more and better FMVs, so lets have them!

Plus I wouls love the old world map back, trecking across lands and facing random battles, HEAVEN!
 
I'd like to see a Female warrior and a Male mage for once. it would also be nice to see a full return of the classic ATB system, which hasn't been done properly since FFX, so that's something that i would like to see improved upon ;)

Only if there's no damn talking. I get tired of sitting there watching people blabbering on and having to endure godawful voice acting. To me, IX was the pinnacle of FMVs.

Another thing i'd like to see is dragoons that actually look COOL. You know, ones that when you see them you go "he's staying in my party." When's the last time we had one of those? Kain (and the dragoon class in Tactics)! VII had Cid, who was pretty dull looking. IX had freya, and while she was a good dragoon, she was ass-ugly. X had Kimahri, he looked decent, but no awesome armour like Kain (not to mention he was worthless as any class).
 
Ah yes, the return of the ATB system, it's just so classic, and was what made FF gameplay so much better and more unique than other games.
I'd like to see a return to that as well.
 
The only thing I ask of SE, is to make games with interesting stories and characters. They should concentrate on making new games instead of milking FF7, even though it's an awesome game, but half-assed spinoffs just doesn't cut it. I actually like Nomura as a character designer but if Amano came on board again I actually think it could be quite beneficial.
 
I don’t really have a whole lot of complaints when it comes to improvements. However, I agree with everyone on the World Map issue… Bring back the World Map! I miss being able to wander off and explore every of the games world...

 More FMV videos would be nice… FFXII’s FMV where beautiful, I just wish they had fully rendered most of the other cut-scenes. Also, keep the ability to skip over them should you want to (a nice addition to XII FMV”s, in my opinion).
 
i'd love for the return of the world map of course. also i agree with SS when she says that we should have better FMVs. and possibly some high quality voice acting?
 
Yes no more spinoffs! All these FFVII prequels and sequels are just SE's way of whoring out the game. Yes even Advent Children. Sometimes less is more especially in this case.
 
They should trash the Dialogue boxes. >:(

That's exactly what I want, too.

Even if the graphics were only at the quality of VIII or IX, I'd be alright as long as the stories were awesome. No more spin-offs, just concentrate on the big cheese!
